the totallack of respect on the part of kids these days just PISSES me off.
And I recognize that was a generalization, however, it's becoming increasingly common.

Yeah, he got the phone back. AFTER I filed insurance. That didn't make me too happy but it also means we have at least a backup phone now.

And HE is paying the fifty bucks.

I have to cool down, else I'll lose it and as you said, make the situation much worse.

oh no quite serious.

And quite out of order.
However, regarding where he gets it...

EWWWWW! no wonder that kids a few steps outta juvie. is your son upset he's not allowed over. this is one of the few times the hell that is high school might benefit to ostracize him & (gah I can't think of the proper word!) make him regret it. JERK.

Stealing makes me so upset!!

I was shopping the other day and while I was looking around, two girls stole a bunch of crap while the sales lady (only one in the store) was helping me. She was so flustered and upset - I felt so sad for her

I was visiting my hometown where I grew up and know the owner personally...

I remember when I was in grade 8, someone stole ONE of my runners. Frig, steal both of them! I was double upset because I knew they obviously didn't steal them to wear them!

I am super glad you got the phone back. It makes me so upset to see the way his mother reacted. I get really chafed when I see parents who make excuses or are apathetic towards their kids' malbehaviour... AH!!!

omg.. yeah.. well the thing is.. I've had some of my stuff... cd's dvd's make up and all sorts of things stolen out of my room by my little brothers "girlfriend" one time I knew it was her no body else would take it and I went to the little brats house...talked to her mom, and told her excatly what was taken and asked to look though luckly found my stuff told the mother if the kid wanted to hang out with my brother I dont care but if she came over again I was going to file a police report for everything that was taken.

My little brother had the nerve to whine at me about it.

I had the same problem one other time at a friends house (I had a about 5 hundred in my purse and it was taken and the purse was taken found about 3 hours later) we finally figured out who took it and I filled charges against them. I dont really understand as to why people have to go that far, its not that hard to work for it.

He's not too chapped about it. I mean, it sucks that it was his friend, but he's dealt well with it I think. :/
