Keyboard Courage

I'm on MUA and I never even heard of that other site until you posted last night about them calling you those things. I was really appalled at the things I read over there. I knew some people were a little off that post on MUA boards, but now I think they have some much more serious problems. I have a feeling that those aren't mostly lurkers posting there either. Everyone is usually so nice and helpful on the makeup boards so it makes me so sad that members are being made fun of and talked about in such a way. They are sad and pitiful people on the inside.

That is so horrible. I'm sorry they did that to you. You're just a regular person, trying to live her life and help other people that going through stuff, and they have nothing but bad things to say. Just shows what sad people *they* are.

Well, *I* think you're cool, and I'm sure the rest of Specktra does too, so just stay over here.

People are going to participate in all different kinds of activities to pass their time on the internet. People will engage with others, to them that's a type of dialouge they enjoy. Don't spend another moment thinking about something that's so unfortunate, meaningless, and negative.

My advice would be to shrug it off and put it behind you. Spend time with your SO, post a FOTD, wrap presents (had to sneak that one in), or any of a million other productive and meaningful things.

People only have the guts to say stupid crap like that and pick fights...etc. because they arent face to face. If they were, its super likely that more often than not they would keep their mouths shut. These people are bored, negative, and RIDICULOUS. Theres no way any of them probably would have the balls to say anything like that to anyones face.

I'd let it go. Let them sink that low, don't give them the satisfaction on a response. You'll be better off.

pfft. sad, sad little people. just ignore them.

i love how you just make up username for each post. it's a fantastic plan. the one person who actually posts there can pretend to be "20 millionz pplz who use da site ROFLCOPTER!", all without the hassle of having to have 56 computers logged in a at once, or having to log out and log back in constantly.

I will admit to the celeb bashing. Perhaps not the best thing to do, but when celebs repeatedly put it out there on a plate, you just get sick of seeing it sometimes. Not trying to be rabidly defensive

, just my point of view.

Celebrities, for the most part, choose to put themselves out there in the public eye and need the public's attention; I think it's completely justified to comment or criticize certain behaviors celebrities have or things they say. For instance, do I think Kevin Federline is a jerk for the way he handled the dissolution of the marriage? Yes, from everything he's done. However, I don't think it's right to make up crazy rumors or assume things for no reason. For instance again, I would never assume Kevin Federline beats Britney, because there hasn't been evidence to it.

People trying to be helpful on the internet don't actually put themselves out in the public the way celebrities do. To me, that's the difference.
