LashBlast RANT

I find that Lashblast and Benefit's Badgal Mascara look identical on my lashes. The only difference between the two is that the Badgal one dries and my Lashblast constantly feels sticky and you can totally feel that you are wearing the mascara. With the Badgal, I can't even tell that I have any mascara on! I am in love with Badgal Mascara

I couldn't agree with you more! I hated this stuff. I bought this kinda on a whim! I was at Wal-Mart and my 3 months were up. I decided to give it a try..this stuff didn't do anything for my lashes. They looked better with nothing on them. I wouldn't take this if someone PAID me to!

I bought it because I have one of those CVS coupons for a dollar off. I got the regular version and I really do love it. It pumps up my lashes like nothing! But I feel that way about many products raved about. I will purchase them and be like -_-......

I am trying out the new LashBlast Luxe mascara. It's ok...The colour is not heavily pigmented and I find that it does not make any significant changes to my lashes. You do see the shimmer though. I just have not gotten those voluminous lashes..as yet. I need to play around with it. I think that I'm spoilt because Maybelline's Lash Stiletto is my new HG mascara!!!

me too!! I find it only flakes if I put on way too much.. and if I put on too much it just looks bad anyways.. two coats gives me great lashes.

I liven i Sweden and here Max Factor released a mascara called False lash effect pretty recently. It's supposed to be the same as LashBlast but with black packaging and I've looked at picture, it certainly seems so.

Anyway, for me the False lash effect-thing works fine for everyday use. It grabs even the small lashes. But it's's certainly not the best I've tried.

i must agree...when they discontinued the max factor mascara that I loved I tried 100000 different ones, most with the rubber wand, and hated them all. I thought at first maybe it was the new wands, but then I tried lash blast and have been in love ever since. And I use the non-waterproof formula..

I used it once and had a severe allergic reaction. My eye area was dry that night, which was normal at that time and I thought nothing of it, so I thoroughly cleaned my eyes as usual. I woke in the morning and my eyes were literally SWOLLEN shut. I looked like I'd been punched and I didn't even recognize myself; my cheekbones weren't even visible. I wouldn't go out in public without sunglasses and I was out of work for three days, and even then it took over a week for my face to return to normal.

It really is a shame because I've heard so many wonderful things about this mascara.

Lashblast is by far one of my favorite mascaras. It gives great length and volume to my lashes. I've never had any problems with clumping or flaking. I agree with the others, maybe you got a bad batch.

For me - it pulls out WAY too much mascara!! I have to spend a few minutes wiping all of the excess onto the inside edge, and if I would use a tissue - I'd be wasting so much product!!! If I manage to unclog the wand, then it seems to do a nice job, but if I don't wipe enough, then ugh - messy clumpy lashes. I'm either going to take it back or throw it away - I've never had this much trouble with a mascara!

I love LashBlast! It never smudges or flakes, I fell asleep with it on and totally forgot I was wearing it until I washed my face and it started coming off.

I blot it A LOT before I apply it, like with most mascaras.

I like it because I can get naturally defined lashes or build it up for more glam, too.

Sounds like you may of gotten a bad dried out tube or something. When I was a beauty advisor at a popular drugstore chain, everyone raved about lashblast.

I've had problems with Lash Blast as well, but I think it just may be the type of lashes I have. My lashes grow downward and have a tough time staying curled all day. But, I've found that as soon as Lash Blast gets on my lashes they start to droop, like really bad, it looks awful, so I'm trying the L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes...it seems decent enough.

Wow, this is one of my all time ds fave mascaras, I do love the big brush. It grabs my lashes really well, the product is applied evenly and I do think it is true to its name, the results are amazing. The huge brush could be an issue for ladies w/ smaller lashes. And the original formula is excellent, better with primer.

But the w/p formula is bad, so bad. Makes my lashes feel so hard. And the new tubes, the ones with shimmer, bah, terrible too.

I love love love the original formula and noticed today while looking at costco coupons starting may 11th they have $3 off a twin-pack. Hopefully it isn't $15 for a twin-pack

I tried the LashBlast Luxe (colored with "shimmers") didn't like it and returned it.
Didn't like the Maybelline Colossal Lash...didn't do much, smelled funny, and bugged my eyes.
I have the Stiletto and wouldn't buy it again but don't hate it enough to return it.
