I use Mixing meduim & full coverage foudation as a base.

Actually i have really bad skin! Lol I use use full coverage foundaion strobe cream.. and lots of blot powder i have really oily skin...

As for the shadows being opaque..It has alot to do with the base i use the texture really makes the pigment in the shadows apply smoothly and set well...
