I LOVE their eyeshadows. The pigments are bright, and they go on very easily

Heads up! I was at Walgreens tonight and they have HIP buy one get one free. While I was looking at the collection the cashier came up to me and said she had $2.00 off coupons. Basically, I got two eyeshadows for $2.99. $1.49/ea -- not too bad!

So, check to see if they have coupons you can use!

i just got back from Walgreens and they had a buy one get one free on HIP stuff- so i got a pigment stick and the intrepid pigment- I'm excited to try it out. Although I was a bit skeptical of buying a non-MAC product.

Question on the pigment stick- it says you can use it wet. Does that mean wet the stick itself or use a wet brush? Any advice would be helpful.

You can wet the stick but it make them clumpy so I find it easier to wet a brush then rub it over the tip of the pigment sticks. I have found that blending shades is easier if the sticks pigments are wet.

I picked up some of the e/s duos when they first came out. It's funny because one of the e/s reminds me so much of Retrospeck in one of the duos and in the other duo, the one e/s reminds me of All That Glitters!

I picked up HIP when I was really broke and couldn't make it to Sephora, I do luv the Sassy duo alot but this other one (I forget the name of it) its a peachy pink color with a gray color doesnt seem to blend really well together or apart I think I am going to give it to my friend. But other then that they are great but nothing beats Name Brand I think

I have made some swatches today, as I received a 15 slot palette by BENI DURRER that has the size of the duos (or the 3g MAC e/s - BB size)... I love it!!!

which are mac look a likes??

to me the top two duos on the right look like... the gold and purple (flamboyant)-- the purple looks like endless love from the diana collection... ive compared them side by side. the pink from the brown and pink duo (brazen) looks just like romping without that "pink" pearl..(the pearl in romping looks blue/purple to me)... i have to do a second swatching to be sure. but i'm pretty sure from my first swatch.

I think that "Lively", the brown town in there reminds me of All That Glitters and the "Mischief" lighter tone reminds me of Retrospeck. Lively is the 2nd one down in the first row, Mischief is right under Lively.
