I am moving to LA in October for school and I was wondering if there are any cosmetic stores other then Sephora and Ulta that sell numerous brands. I'm from Houston and I have done some research but I am not finding much. If anyone familiar with the area could let me know of stores near the downtown area it would be awesome! Thank you!

Look for Nigel's Beauty Emporium in North Hollywood, Naimies in Valley Village and Frends Beauty Supply. These are great stores. They carry all kinds of brands! HTH
