I've been debating that all day...... but someone else mentioned to me these are great if you're traveling! So they're worth it for travel bushes. I mean yeah sonia kashuk travel kit is good too but you know.. it's red and it has MAC on it

Awesome, so the girl at Nordies yesterday wasn't lying to me! I thought I was the only one...I'm going to check them out in a few minutes and I'll let you know if they're total crap or not!

^^^When you first said that they were $35, I thought it had to be a mistake

Wow, it was such a surprise. I really love the 187 out of the sets. I have about 5 of them & the quality is really good on all of them.

I know that some have had problems with bleeding, but I'm wondering if it may be more due to how the brushes are cleaned. I just use those anti-bacterial baby wipes & have never had that problem.

I stopped by to see them today....I passed, after fondling them to death....Honestly I did not find the quality good on them...But you guys are correct they would be good for traveling....I think I will just invest in the full size ones that are heavier and much better quality IMO.

Ahh..it sucks not to live in the US...I wasn't even looking at the brush sets cause I've heard lots of negative comments on them that they arn't as good as quality..so why pay the money for them (65 CAD here) but 35 bucks!! Crazy tempting..but i'm not in the states so temptation gone..lol..

I agree!!! I think the quality has really fallen off, and $65 CAD just isn't worth it...

Girl, After way too much brain power deliberating on these damn MAC brushes I have to say I came to the same conclusion. I want to love them but I really don't.
I'm just going to go ahead and buy a 187 and 209 within the next view months

In order to sooth my beauty craving for pretty brushes I ordered these instead all of 20 bucks

Wooo! My momma dearest has been using terrible (we're talking comes-in-compact) brushes forever, and with the sets being $35, I could afford to order her the basic set and the eye set! I know they aren't the most amazing brushes, but they're way better than what she has, and she'll love the packaging! I'm going to go to pier one too and get some red wine goblets for her to put them in on her vanity!
