I have most of the regular size brushes and I still buy the short handle brushes. I think they're fine and I hate to carry my long handle brushes in my purse. Also, as someone said before they are great for traveling. I bought the holiday eye set from macy's for $49

, but I think i'll get the face set from Nordstrom!!! I love the red too! great price.

But damn 35! That's CCO prices (and they'll probably end up there anyway...) I really wish Nordstrom would ship to Canada...

i guess i was wrong, i'll admit it. but i'm wondering if its still a mistake and if mac even knows about this.

there's been times, always with nordstrom, when they release something early, or have different prices, and then corporate finds out, and what was shouldn't have been.

whatever the case may be, get em at $35 while ya can!

It is not a mistake. Nordstrom has lowered the price on their own behalf, not MAC. I must say get them while you can. What they have in stock now is all they are getting they will not receive any more sets.

When I was at the Mac Pro Store fondling them to death...My normal girl that helps me, said if you're gonna buy them run down to Nordies while they still have some because they are @15 bucks cheaper but they only received a limited amount of them. But I had already decided I didn't want them at that point.

I just walked in the door from getting mine! I got the face set at NORDSTROMS and yes it really was $35 and yes they did have the eye set in the store and they had another set....the lady was like tell all your friend s who wear MAC that's this deal is only at NORDSTROMS. MAC does know about it because when I went yesterday I was going to buy the brushes from my MAC MA but kept debating about the price.....so I left them there. when I got home and read this posting I went to nordies.com and they were there.

so I called my MAC MA and told her she called somebody at MAC and was like girl you better go get it! I only bought them because I'm a newbie and this set will hold me till I save enough to ge the real things.....but at $35/4= $9.25 a brush.... not bad at all for a newbie!

i just bought 4 eye sets and 2 face sets....for christmas...but i must say.... i dont really like them.... its the first time i have ever bought mac's brush sets and they do look cheap to me... i was gonna keep at least one set of each... but looks like im going to give them away..... sad....

Ok Guys! after using the face brush set....I must say that I am realllllllyyyyy DISAPPOINTED!!! I do not like the quality of the 187 in the set. all the other brushes seem to work fine but the 187 is the reason I bought the set in the 1st place because I thought it would be cool to try a few different MAC brushes (for the 1st time) for the same price I would normally pay for a single brush... but today I decided that this set will be returned and I will just buy the full size 187 and save up for the rest...I feel so bad....

I returned mine. I wasn't pleased either. I went to my CCO and brought the Colour Forms Brush set for $24.50 and the 187 brush is a helluva alot better.

I ordered mine today for in store pickup. I really hope I like them, but if I don't I'll be getting a refund.
