Since I am not buying

I am depending soley on BESTfriends and family to read this post and offer Rose quad donations!! I have Solar white (3) and Contrast...But I'm sure if my bff, dh or mom wants to buy me this quad I will not hesitate to accept it..It would be the least I could do for them

....
If you know my bff, dh or Mom....I will not be mad if you emailed or called them with this information....they may or may not find it useful!!

$36 USD...is like....$42CAD? I don't have a quad lolz Are these removable/magnetic like the regular 4quads we buy? (sorry, dumb question lolz but I only recently got into MAC so I don't know everything....yet.

Nooo, unfortunately those suckers are glued in there. MAC hasn't taken me up on my idea of build-your-own quads.

I have depotted lots of my quads though and replaced colors i hate with ones I like...via re-glue

I think I want need this quad. I just picked up the stowaway quad at my CCO today and am in a quad buying mood. Plus I don't have Contrast and can always use a backup of Solar White. Plus two new e/s in peach and pink and they're frosts! Gah, so hard to resist the lure of the quad...

**Is the backing atleast metal? Or is it plastic; so that means you have to be careful in not breaking them.**

^^ it's metal ...and once you remove the cover...they are on a metal strip...and if you heat the bottom of the strip they basically slide right off as the glue warms up .....It's really easy i promise

I've gotten really good at depotting. I had a few new Chanel eye shadows in tester packaging. I got a hypodermic needle, some rubbing alcohol and a tiny screwdriver. Piece of cake!

Tish may I send you my eye shadows to depot!?! Pretty please? I only have about 12 dozen or so that need depotting. You can do that in what a few hours?

I depotted two eye shadows (with success) but I am too scared to do more. I used a flat iron and it was pretty easy. I am just forever worried that I will damage a beloved shadow.

Sure!!! I depotted over 60+ one day ...I was on a role ...I actually love love depotting ...therapeutic

I'm afraid of over melting my shadows

I would never seriously ask you to do that!

For now all of my shadows will sit in their pots until I get up the balls to start depotting.
