MAC - A Rose Romance Discussion

Still skipping all this.
I am a broke college student. And unless I get a job soon, no more MAC for me.

Which is good I guess.. since after Sugar Sweet I planned on skipping this collection, A Rose Romance, Style Warriors, and Naked Honey anyways...

Please tell me I don't have to be that sad over this!

Don't be sad about having to miss this stuff. I am sure that while most of the stuff will be pretty and that there will be lots of enabling going on when the collections are released, once that dies down you most likely won't miss much. Most colors are dupable and if you do want the colors I am sure you can hunt them down in the CB or a CCO later on.

I am going to try really hard to skip these collections or just be limited on what I buy. I am trying to buy a condo and also save for my trip in June. It won't kill us if we miss a MAC collection. At least that is what I try and tell myself!!

I remember it being on my list last year (was it around the summer?). But I think I ended up skipping it because there were three or so collections out around the same time and I had spent a crap load already!

Seriously, you don't have to be sad over this! Broke college student now, a successful career woman sooner that you think! Time flies by, enjoy life as a student, broke and all!

I just had a look at the pics for this collection... I completely forgot about the nail polish, that's coming home with me! Maybe the fragrance, because I looove rose scented fragrance. A Rose Romance l/s through b2m (if it's a little more exciting than the usual mid-tone pink, lol!). And Circa Plum or a couple of shadows. I'm definitely getting suckered in by the theme of this collection.

Afterwards though, it's on to a very low buy since DH and I are now saving up for a bigger house! (Katie, you and I just may have to be low buy partners!).

Steal My Heart l/g <-- not so sure about this

I think that I am going to skip this collection really. At first I wanted Nordstrom Quad but I just wanted it just to have it...lol. The only thing that really appeals to me is the nail lacquer.

Vegas??? I'm so jealous! I think I'm joining in on the low-buy for this collection, too. I've gone MAC caraaaazzzzyyyyy these past collections, and my wallet might possibly have to be shocked back to life.

I am suprised because ususally Nordstrom has an exclusive quad for their rewards night around the same time every year (April/May).

Maybe MAC is mad at Nordstrom because of all of the holiday pricing so they didn't do an exclusive quad with them.

You think that about every collection....LOL...because it is not so amazing to me honestly...and MAC does not need every penny of my money all the time...I have to be realistic...buying all collections is not beneficial to me
