MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

Well, I called MAC today to complain about the stock/ insane quick sellouts that have been happening almost every release. The supervisor says we understand the frustration with LE releases to which I replied, almost instant sellouts every collection that most people do not even get a chance to buy is beyond LE - it's ridiculous. You should have enough stock for longer than 5 minutes. As a great customer of MAC I cannot buy one of an item right at release time, but a seller on ebay has 20 or so to sell of each item. I get the LE thing, but its been a bit insane the last few releases.

Estee Lauder Corp. called me just an hour after that because they wanted to note what they could improve on. They looked at my account & said, "yeah, you really are a great customer".

The last few times I've gone to a Macys, no one even wants to wait on me, or even answer a question because they are doing someone's makeup. The other day when I bought a lipstick the girl was actually quite rude about having to wait on me.

I swear the customer service at mac stores in my area is ridiculous, a lot of the sales girls have no concept of customer service, mac should really invest in training them to deliver this because i feel like they recruit people who are void of any interpersonal skills. Especially in the more reputed stores like Selfridges, i've come across quite a few rude sales girls, I'd much rather take my money elsewhere and spend it on a brand who is more about customer service and less about shifting high volumes of product. I would defo complain next time it happens.

Rude SA's are never ok, however being a MUA and having worked at a makeup counter before I can tell you first hand that MUA's come across plenty of rude customers who treat us like we are servants. I have personally had customers shove a product in my face and say "I want this"...not "Hi how are you, can you help me?". Or the customers who see that every MUA at the counter is busy assisting someone else, and even though they are greeted and assured someone will be right with them, have nasty attitudes about not being helped quick enough! Even though we are in retail, MUA's are people with feelings too, so it's hard to not be affected by rude, impatient people.Another pet peeve is people assume that all SA's work on commission (I never worked off commission so my check was the same no matter how much you purchase), so when they are greeted and ask if they need anything, they assume we are sale hungry and either ignore us or are rude....sorry about ranting but I feel like SA's get thrown under the bus on Specktra a lot and all of them aren't rude, sales hungry snobs!

Thank you so much!!!! From it being sold out so fast on MAC online, I thought it was a MAC exclusive... I hope it's easier to grab from Nordies!!!

awwww thanks but your pic is beyond stunning!! (major hair envy right now)...i've been home all day with the cold so im pretty much a million miles from looking remotely human, also thought it was about time i stopped hiding behind the little pink heart.......as cute as it was. haha

I wish they would get their verbiage correct. Limited Edition does not really mean Limited Quantity. This is seriously the only brand that has this issue and its rather annoying.

This collection is just gorgeous. It's gonna be released this saturday in Holland but it's so limited! Only three stores will get this collection and no online release. Rihanna is also really limited.. :headbang: But a lovely Specktrette's doing a cp for me (thank you :hug:) that consists of: AAO: Tart & Trendy Sushi Kiss Razzledazzler Royal Sunset Rihanna: RiRi Boy Heaux Perm: Up The Amp YAY. :flower:
