MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

Before or after caffeine? Perhaps after a makeup haul or just playing around in that magnificent stash, cause that looks like plain ole happy to me.

I've posted this before, but I bought so much Barbie, because we were both born in 1959!

And, it was an awesome collection.

Yup! I needed it. I couldn't cope without it, it just drove me nuts not knowing what I had. Several times I nearly bought something twice and I got fed up of constantly checking my stash before I ordered something -- this helped solve it and now I know exactly where to look to know the answer. These days I order it online and put it in my spreadsheet before I've even received it. If for some reason it doesn't arrive and it isn't LE I put a strike through it until I re-order it and get it.

I'm w/you PeachTwist---as soon as I place an order I update my document and put the items in a certain color text---when the products arrive I change
the text to black. That's how I keep up with what I've ordered and what I've received. The colored text really stands out and I don't have to search for
it. When my items arrive I make labels and store them in their new home. I also color code items that are getting low, like foundation/concealer. I
check the status of those items whenever I'm placing an order so that I don't find the item completely depleted at the worse possible time.

If applied to heavy, it's just a no go for me.[/COLOR] [COLOR=800080]I had to use the slightest hand! nordstrom shipping is very fast ! I always get my stuff 2 or 3 days after I order!

Is it bad that I could tell you every eye shadow I have just by looking at it? I don't need the boxes.. I can just look at the colour and tell you. I find it kind of odd.

I remember the first time I ever went to a MAC counter, I'd been looking at MAC online for so long and didn't own anything that I could guess the lipstick the MA was wearing just from looking at it. Kinda weird...

It's awesome. I can do it to an extent. CC is quite good at it like you. I think it's cool

Yes!!! The more the merrier!  Red Racer was an interesting red, mebbe its at a cco and someone could pick it up for you! Or not lol.

I still have 4 BUs hehe. Sooo enough for a life time! I just didn't make a significant dent in my first one 365+ days later, so I decided to sell a BU. it's still a HG red (along with Ruffian Red, Deeply Adored and Heartless). Chances are if I see it for sale, I'll grab it again lol. Such a vicious cycle.

Elegant One, your collection is so amazing. I am not worthy. I am not worthy. I fall at your feet. I only have 18 boxes of makeup (about shoe box size), all inventoried and organized by color and type - i do still have some i've "museumized" from the 60s and early 70s - including some Biba and Mary Quant.

As for backups, here's a list of ALL the BUs i have (just one BU of each):

Back in the 90s i accidentally ended up with two L'Oréal Colour Riche Lipcolour in Mica, which is a frosted medium taupe mauve. But I only wanted one.

I got a Barbie when she was first sold - sadly got rid of her long ago.

And, yes, that Max Factor shimmery lime green loose powder eyeshadow from 1962 (or was it 61) still works. My mom hated it - but then she never wore eyeshadow ever - she said it looked like i was recovering from a black eye.

My lipstick tip arrived smashed. I called Mac and they offered to send a replacement. But, I did not receive an email with a confirmation nor does it show on the website. Is this typical? I just want to ensure I am able to receive my replacement, especially before everything sells out. I think it's normal. When they were shipping me a replacement for shape the future, I didn't receive any kind of confirmation and it didn't show online. I was a little worried but it did come pretty quickly.

Sorry dear. I ran to the gym real quick. I'm pretty much obsessed with CDN. Only lipstick I've ever gone thru a tube of. Multiples in fact! Now it literally looks like my skin tone, so it will give you a bit of colour, which can be a good thing cuz not a lot of people can go skintone on the lips.

Whats your skintone if you dont mind me asking??

She's NC20, I'm NC15.
