Noooo that's so terrible ! Make them come home lol
I think the last time I did anything with "friends" (no longer have many, lol) was for my 21st back in 2011. Then again, 18 is the legal drinking limit in the UK and I spent that one at home and was in bed by 10pm, haha. I'm really not much of a party person. Just call me Grandma!

18 is the legal drinking limit in Aus too. Hahah aww I understand what you mean, drinking isn't my thing. For my 18th I had a boat party and all my friends were drunk, whereas I was mainly sober the whole time

Nah, isn't mine - I don't drink at all anymore due to health issues, but even before that stopped me I didn't bother much. I'd much rather stay home and have hot chocolate on the sofa and be on Specktra or watch tv/movies/youtube than go out dealing with annoying drunk people, lol. (SO annoying, right?)

I do miss having a reason to get dressed up and do my make-up though. I don't work, again due to health issues, so I don't really have any reason to do it on a regular basis as I'm just sat around the house but partner and I do try to do "date night" once a month, which gives me a good reason to dress up and feel good about myself!

Lol I'm kinda the same way. I do like to drink occasionally, but I don't have many friends that I like to go out with. Plus I have a boyfriend who I am happy to just lounge with him in bed all night

Glad I'm not the only loner by choice, haha! Other than my Mom, I only have one other friend in "real life" these days and she's a couple hrs from me now. The rest I've known for years through other forums etc and we connect due to health issues etc and then my Specktra friends who I connect with for make-up. I'm happy with that though.

I have a few friends, but I try and keep my circle small now. I learned a lot in high school by having a ton of friends, and most of it was stuff I didn't like. So, lesson learned, keep it tight lol

What will be the best bronzer for NC15? Bronzer terrifies me. I also like being pale. I alsi REALLY like this packaging. You can see where I'm going with this.
I'm not really a bronzer person either, but if you're going to get one, I would go with Golden. I'm NC20 and on the rare occasion I throw on some bronzer, I find that Golden works best for me because it's not very dark at all and not orangey like some of the others can be.

Do it for yourself. If makeup makes you happy---use it. Even while at home. I went through a lengthy illness and I didn't want a sick
person looking back at me in the mirror---I didn't want to identify with that image. A little makeup made a huge difference.
Thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way,

I hope the bronzers don't have texture issues like the ones from Temperature Rising, otherwise I cannot justify the purchase just for the pretty compact. MAC better realize that with all of the new collections coming out, people aren't going to buy products that are less than amazing. I have no patience for products that don't perform well, no matter how nice they are packaged and especially when the regular permanent ones are better. Now I'm wishing they would have just ditched Golden and Refined Golden for this collection and went with the Pro Longwear Bronzers instead.
