Honestly - don't even think of it as a cremesheen.  Think of it as a Lustre.  I think they're totally wrong for calling it a cremesheen. I don't!  :haha: The hand swatch was built up though - 3/4 passes to make it that dark. The packaging for sure is the winner here.  Even the box has the little fake rain drops on it!

Haha! I thought you had put it on ever so lightly. I was debating about the bronzer, but if it works on you it should work on my pale skin, too. And that compact is so gorgeous. I figure 1 or 2 lippies, the compact, a few eye shadows, maybe a blush (or two). That should do it. I want Mystical, too, so I'm looking forward to seeing it on you. Happy black box day!

Wooo! My package has dispatched too. They seem to be dispatching much more quickly than they used to... or maybe it just seems that way.

I'm actually really glad that GotS is more like a lustre than a cremesheen. I don't dislike cremesheens as much as used to, but it's definitely my least favourite MAC finish.

I'm really looking forward to the store release this week so that I can look at the other lipsticks and the eyeshadows. I've not been wowed by ED eyeshadows in the past, but I really like the look of the colour range here (I just thought how much I'd love it if they did a collection with neon ED eyeshadows; I'd go completely broke). Oh, and the pics of the lipglasses have suddenly made me more interested in those. Oh, and the blushes... and the ED bronzers... It's just as well I'm going to stay with my dad next weekend, so I can spend some of next week's groceries money on makeup.

I have an order of Enchated One & Mystical lipsticks that will be here next week and See Me, Hear Me blush is in that order also. Will post swatches when I get them.

Something to note - I'm not wearing ANY face makeup in this photo at all. This is me after having woken up from a nap and using the tiny mirror in the compact to apply this.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not to get one of the bronzers. I would really only want it for the compact. I get all giddy every time I look at pictures of it. But I want to be on a no-buy, and I really don't wear bronzer pretty much ever. And I know I'll probably forget all about this packaging a few months down the road, since there are always new and exciting things coming out. Ugh...maybe if it's still available when the Pedro collection comes out, I'll get the compact and just one Pedro lipstick instead of the 2 Pedro lipsticks I was originally planning.

Why didn't they make a regular ol' mirror compact with this water drops design? I would've bought that in a heartbeat.

I only keep Special Edition packaging. I don't keep the products in them, but I keep them because they're pretty.
