Thanks! I could definitely see that method working. I do the same thing to be able to clean out candle jars after they won't burn down any lower. I might have to buy some cheap lipsticks and do a test run to see if I can get it to work without breaking anything.

I strongly recommend that you call your local counter to put the items on your wish list to the side. There will be very limited stock in stores. Same goes for other online sites as the lion share of AA (for Germany) was sold on the MAC site. On the bright side: MAC OS had a pretty large stock this time. If you are after specific items, go to the store as due to limited stock, not all items will be available online at other online stores. Good luck!

The decision becomes more difficult. If it had a shimmer, I would have given up. I'm not sure about the color, but I am tempted to try.

All the surprise early releases are making me nervous! I've been slacking on my stalking I'm afraid I'm going to check and miss things. Luckily I mainly want shadows and those seem to hang around longer than lipsticks usually

I know what you mean! I'm super nervous about AA + Osbournes.

March was a non-eventful Mac month and April was a "meh" month for me, personally.
With Proenza I was jolted awake and made aware of my recent slacky-ness (

)...I forgot to check in the morning before going to work! Luckily nothing sold out until way way later in the day

....I was so surprised (and relieved!) that OC was still avail.

Definitely need to prep and train for AA soon!

Do you think they'd put something on the side for me even if they don't know me personally? I mean,I am a registered customer in their system but also buy some stuff online or at Douglas. I just assumed they would only do these kinds of "favors" for customers they have known for a long time... Sorry if that's a stupid question

Peach Twist you are right. I'm not a fan of most glosses especially MAC lipglass. I love the look of Modern Lure but I know for a fact that I wont use it because of the stickiness. Besides I'm sure the glosses that I did keep after my clear out there are a few in there that can dupe Modern Lure. I'm thinking of you Amorous Dazzleglass Creme. Thank you everyone for the swatches but my list has gotten progressively smaller.

I mostly buy lipstick from MAC now; I think they offer great value for the quality provided. Same with a lot of the regular e/s, particularly with $12 pans.

Aside from the fact that I'm drowning in makeup, I just can't be bothered to stalk; not for any brand. Too busy/impatient to enjoy the thrill of the chase now.

I'm really hoping MAC will come out with another Huggables collection; I bought six and have been wearing them non-stop since. Two are already more than half gone.

I think I've only seen one swatch of Siren Song so far, but on a darker skintone where it looked very sheer, like barely there. So I'm assuming it will work for pale NWs like us and I plan to get it
I can wear some of MAC's concealers in NW15, but other than that most of their products are too dark for me, too.

Oh wait, someone on here posted hand swatches of it as well, I think. I'm starting to lose track with all these swatches.

Do you mean registered with the the MAC online store or registered at your local counter/store? The online registration has nothing to do with stores/counters, but if they know you at the counter, it's worth giving them a call.

I agree, it's a a pretty collection but compared to Temperature Rising.... it's a bit dull I think. I am a huge fan of TR I must say. The packagings are to die for

but the TR ones were beautiful too. I will purchase a few items though, 2 lippies and a compact or a blush.
