Chicken Enchilada soup from Chile's is my fav!! Mmmm love their broc cheese! But some advice....never eat it if you are going to get drunk. It's hell coming back up One of my top guys! Pretty much the reason I watched Magic Mike. He's not a pretty boy. He's all man!

Omg islands has awesome chicken tortilla soup!! Enchilada always makes me think of tortilla because always accidentally buy it at Safeway

Lentil soup is very good for those going through chemo. I made it for my grandma when she was going through it.  Way to go making soup better than his mama lol. I think a lot of women always want that to make food better than their man's mama! 

Seriously there is something so therapeutic about chicken soup. & I couldn't bare to think of him eating TV dinners, so although I'm fighting my own battles with health issues I did everything by hand, no pre cut or pre made BS & I stood over those batches of soup for hours because I wanted it to be perfect. I love his mom's cooking, but it was just a super honor to have him say that to me. We don't cook in my immediate family, so it's not like I have some sense of how to cook from watching my parents, but when I do cook, everyone is surprised. It's funny but sad b/c I never cook for my poor hubs, just don't have the stamina & the thought if going to the grocery store to get stuff, ugh. I mean I have left the house maybe once or twice in the past 5-6 months b/c of the way I'm feeling, so if I buy all this fresh stuff it to cook it usually goes in the trash b/c I can't get up the strength to cook it. & often times the scent of food can trigger my getting nauseous.

I remember that day, I just got a new phone. I was cooking and my sister came to tell me. I broke down.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who is annoyed by this! I end up stabbing the center with a knife and having to peel back the film while trying not to get cold soup all over my hands.  I'm getting twitchy thinking about it.

Omg yes!!! At first i just kept spinning the damn thing around thinking i just wasn't seeing the tab (again and again), and then i tried using my teeth. Well that didn't work. Then i grabbed a knife and stabbed it in the middle and then had to tear it into multiple pieces, and then my fingers were cover i. Broccoli bits and cold liquid cheese

Agreed, I believe that. I always make homemade, never pre cut anything. I do enjoy soup, so I do try it from various places.
But Chicken soup can make everyone better maybe not literally but it lifts the spirits as far as I have seen.
My mother was always the cook, my entire family cooked, my aunts, my uncles everyone loves cooking.
I took over cooking about 8 years ago because my mother couldn't anymore due to health issues. I enjoy it but some days I get tired and don't feel like it.
I am really sorry you aren't doing well babe. That is very unfortunate. I do hope you feel better and are able to cook again.
