exactly.. I am not a WOC or anything special, but I already know my skin and how certain colours work on me.. and I STILL EFF it up sometimes.. it's also knowing how you like to look, your wardrobe, the whole package.

I know I cannot wear certain colours or I look like my avi.. or my aunt Leo who wore Fuschia blush until her 90's with bold red lipstick.

Seriously.. how do you blame a corporation for putting out products clearly made for a wide range of demographics.

no sense in this. no logic either. sorry.

I dont think it was right for her to bash Mac as they do have a wide variety of products that will work for everyone.

I agree that this collection wasnt very WOC friendly but It does have something for everyone, this is why I lean towards brands like Nars that do have more pigmented bronzers && blushes that work really well for us WOC. Im also glad that with AS, the paler ladies were able to find a bronzer that worked for them because I know that is hard to find as well. :agree: I dont think it was right for her to bash Mac as they do have a wide variety of products that will work for everyone.
true which I said that some stuff didn't work but I have a ton of stuff from them that does...

Hmmmm....I thought several of the colors looked good on WOC. I just left the store and saw a girl with Pet Me, Please on (with a liner) and it looked great. She was much darker than me...I felt like it was only "meh" on me. The liner really makes a world of difference. I can def see all the eyeshadows working as well.

I agree- I have a lot of trouble bc I am so pale. for example, i know that eo would be a brown mess on my lips. I know that some shadows were too dark for me, and I know Delphic would have been bad ans prob made me look jaundiced. I picked a few things that 1. I knew were safe. 2. others tried/tested and recommended -[@]erine1881[/@], [@]Mac-Guy[/@] specifically - offered me and others good choices backed up by logical reasoning. not just oh it will look bad/good, they have explanations that will help me decide in the future what is a good choice. these collections are big for a reason. if everyone were the same there would have been one bronzer. if you know you will have issues, you can't just buy all of the things.... even though the packaging is pretty

Hmmmm well Mystical arrived today and I slapped it on. I can't say I'm feeling it at the moment. It makes me look tired and ill. To be honest I am sick, I have a sinus infection, but Dreamin Dahlia looked nice on me this morning.

I was just reading T's reviews on the EDB (Delphic) and she wasn't very happy with color she said in some of her comments that it works better as a blush than a bronzer cause it was too orange. What do you ladies think ? I bought that Bronzer but haven't really had a chance to play with it just swatched it on my hands and it didn't look orange for me.
