Got my package about 30 mins ago and hurried up and tried it on! I'm loving SS!! Pictures, swatches don't do it justice to me.

thank you. you'll love it! At first I was worried that it was going to be clear.. but not at all. It gives such a nice GLOW to the lips, in my opinion.

When I swatched Lorelei it looked basic to me which is why I didn't get it. I saw the gold in it, but no rose.

It just looks like she ordered everything without even thinking about if it would work for her, then was upset that everything was too light. The ED bronzers do have shimmer, but they are not skin finishes, they are bronzers. We would look ridiculous bronzing with a super concentrated metallic shimmer. I mean I understand being disappointed that things are not working for you, but to bash the products is a bit childish. I felt that T sort of did that with the ED bronzers too. They were too light for her without having to build up a whole bunch so she gave them a bad "grade". I commented on her review and said that they are gorgeous for pale girls and that lighter skin tones don't have to build them up 5 times to make them work. Sheerness doesn't equal bad. But it is hard to rate a product that doesn't work for you. I couldn't give an accurate review of a product made for an NC50 just the same as an NC50 couldn't give an accurate review of a product made for an NW13 like me.

I really liked when they came out with the EDSF's the first time and they had one for nearly every skin tone. I think that would be a really good rule of thumb, to make a sort of light, medium and dark when it comes to face products. Last year I felt all the summer face products and bronzers were really too dark for pale girls, and this year they were too light for medium to darker girls.

I also agree with Syd Vicious. Sheer doesn't mean bad. It means sheer, buildable, a light application. That's why I don't think she knows how to use them. TO me, the first blush she swatched looked gorgeous on her. I was never a fan of frost until... was it cozy up that came out with apres chic? She swatched it on her hand but not on her... You have to try. You never know what is going to work.
