MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

Wearing all of my new goodies! Seduced at sea and refined golden on cheeks and Lorelei as a cheekbone highlight! (Obssesed with this as a highlight, thanks Karen ) and a light wash of siren song! Love everything so far

Ok, well that settles it then! I'm going to MAC early in the morning.

I got my Enchanted One and from the swatches I have seen in this thread it is the exact same lipstick as Velvet Tedy. If I had of know that I would have picked different color because I don't even care to much for my Velvet Tedy lippie it just sits and collects dust. I put both lippies side by side and they look exactly the same. I'm not even gonna swatch Enchanted One because they're already swatches of the comparison of both and they're in my opinion the same dang lipstick renamed. URRRRRRR

i didn't see the swatch comparison but I think they might be slightly different, EO being lighter. i tried EO on in the store yesterday, and I cannot wear it without a lipliner or a gloss over top. Velvet Teddy I already own, and I can wear on its own. But if it's collecting dust it's collecting dust...

Well poop. I just got my b/u Lorelei & Legendary Lure shadows in...and LL fell RIGHT OUT of the pan as soon as I opened the damn thing!

I hope you can get a replacement! That's so disappointing.

The first time that MAC released the EDSF, one of the skin finishes arrived cracked (it had been ordered from a Pro store that shipped it in a bubble envelope), and another fell right out. I think these are a little on the fragile side (or at least the ones from that release were). Just to be sure, I don't take my extra dimension stuff traveling or just tossed around in a makeup bag very often--I've done it, but I don't do it all the time.

The MAC store replaced the cracked one (sent in a box!). The one that fell out, I used superglue-type stuff and it was fine. But if you can get a replacement, I would try for sure

Dolly girl your smokin hot. Love the hair color and SS on you. Don't know what happened with you and family but don't let anyone disturb your peace, it's not worth it.You need to be well to take care of the one you love, the ones that matters the most.

I know, I don't know why they don't carry such an amazing shade.  Honestly, I highly suggest you take the plunge and get it anyway.  It would look amazing on you.  If you do get it, please let me know what you think!

Thanks I may end up getting it within the next couple months! I'll probably obsessly research it before I buy it because that's usually what I do haha. It is so pretty! I've never owned anything from NARS so it would be first product from them. Do you have Melba by MAC? I think I've read somewhere that it's close to Gina. Maybe I can swatch and try that on to see how Gina would look like on me.

I absolutely will post swatches! I'm ordering the violet, fuchsia, coral and possibly the nude (need to swatch the nude at ulta this weekend first-i get a pro discount online from a different site so I'm buying em thru that route). But i bought the new fig, berry and candy off the TF site as well.

I really love goddess of the sea. Sorry for indoor lighting as it is overcast here again but you can see the color pretty good. Great pigmentation and the color is a pretty balanced purple without too much red. This is what I wanted boyfriend stealer to look like. I may try layering them.

How is everyone liking Seduced at Sea blush? I picked up Sea Me Here Me and am loving it. I'm considering going back for Seduced at Sea but not sure if the colors are different enough to get both.

I did exactly the same, got SMHM and went back and purchased SaS. On me they look very different. SaS has more shimmers, more of a sculpting effect, it is also more natural (less pink). I am happy to have both

Gonna try to get a replacement, but if not I'll just glue it back in. The shadow itself is fine, but for $20 a pop, I want one that is perfect! hehe

I have no good lighting to show youse guys, but I layered At Dusk EDB over Aphrodite Shell and got the color I REALLY wanted. I couldn't stop staring and DH gave me so many compliments this AM. IF the sun comes out, I will try to show off later with a swatch. If not, if you have both, just TRY IT.
