I'm wearing Pink Pigeon today. Though I love the name and the color is better for me than CYY. It's extremely bright/neon on me. It's the brightest boldest out of the group I have. I am loving it though. This new matte formula needs to stay around for awhile. I am loving it! I put PP on at 6:30am and haven't had to reapply it yet and it's now 9:09am, but as Richelle says below. It isn't staining on my lips as well as the other lippies. Party Parrot, Scarlet Ibis and even Flamingo give off a great lip stain after a few hours. Pink Pigeon is still holding quite bright on my lips. I will keep you posted if it changes within the hour.

Flamingo reminds me of like maybe a tinted lip conditioner, but without the thickness of it. It kind of looks like Pink Fish on certain skin tones on the lips, but not in the pot. Or, it can look more coral or even lean toward nude. Maybe a mix of Pink Fish and throw in a little Popster. It's not going to be the hardest shade to dupe, that's for sure. It's just a matter of mixing a couple of shades. On me, it looks pretty much just like In Synch liner alone.

A little birdie told me that MAC @ Toronto Eaton Centre is expecting a restock of these, so I don't know if that means other stores will too, but at least that's something!
I got both lippies that I wanted from this collection, but had other makeup junkie friends who missed out (and they went on release day too!) so I've got my fingers crossed that everyone gets everything they want.
BTW, for those looking for another dupe of Party Parrot, Electric Pink from Smashbox's new line of lipsticks looks pretty close. I haven't swatched them side by side, but it's also a matte and has the same kind of neon quality.

A great way to start duping Flamingo is by using cremeblend blushes. For example, you can try using So Sweet So Easy. Look at Bloomin Beauty's swatch of Flamingo on her lips. It looks very Similar to So Sweet So Easy. In fact, Inglot cream blushes may dupe Flamingo, but the two I own are more rosey and neutral. I did see a more coral cream blush from Inglot that's a possible dupe.

. I know my local counter had everything in this collection still sat morning and then I went in early sunday morning to see if their was any left(and I really wanted a back up of Flamingo) and they said they had a lot of teens from out of town came down to get their make up done (for proms) and a lot of them and a few moms took everything they had. Lol. I was like all shux,o well. I was also trying to buy some mes from the naturally collection and this girl got like 4 of every eyeshadow and lipstick there. =/ o well. I'm just going to try on the site. XoxoWent by the Pro store yesterday and they're sold out of every single lipstick already. They're not even sure if any of the other locations have any left!I mean, I understand making limited stock, but that's just silly. Anyway, I figure that if I miss out, I miss out. I'm done making myself crazy to get items unless I'm 100% sure they're unique in my collection.

I know what you mean,I see so many post for those on LJ,it's crazy. I kinda feel bad that not everyone got what they wanted. =\ . I was thinking of cp for people yesterday since I knew sat my local Mac had everything. But it was all gone by Sun,when I went in. =/

I'm going to try using it over Maybelline Color Tattoo in Taupe as a base, Silver Gull on the center of the lid, Diamond Dove shaded on the inner and outer portion of the lid and joined a little above Silver Gull. I'm going to use Sephora's Moonbeam gently as an iridescent highlight and maybe the slightest touch on the inner portion of the lid without overtaking Diamond Dove. I may line my eyes with Illamasqua's Havoc. It's going to depend on how Moonbeam looks with Havoc.
i really hope they restock the lippies , i got everything i wanted but my aunt didnt, and she is pretty sad

mac lost my package, but by the time i'd figured it out, flamingo had sold out, so they couldnt resend it, i was sad, i moped a little, they agreed to resend robins egg and refund my postage.. but i was let down i must add, anyway, one week later, my package turned up! with flamingo, looks like im going to get second robins egg soon in the second package they were going to send me, i think i'll send it back, theres no way i need two robins egg, its quite a one off shade, plus i dont want to have bad mac package karma!!
i just tried flamingo on, i love it, so happy i can join in the flamingo fun!

Teens shopping with their moms, asking them for advice on if they should get Scarlet Ibis or Party Parrot, while they were already wearing Candy Yum Yum on their lips or clutching Pink Pigeon in their hands, were the majority I saw buying this collection on the days I was hanging out at my store. It really has turned out to be a cross generational collection, which is totally fitting for one with Iris Aphel as the mascot! So cute!
Yesterday I went out to dinner wearing Elude over Mineralize SPF15 cream foundation, plenty of Party Parrot, Early Morning spread out widely on the cheeks and a simple eye of Daylight all over with Raven Kohl Power to line, with my hair up in a semi-60's looking bouffant. I felt really glam, while not looking overdone - great look for a dim restaurant.
