HA is amazing isn't it!? I'm wearing it today and it's the perfect soft neutral pink

I'm very happy with my BU. I realized I almost only BU bright lips so this was a good excuse to BU HA since it's a soft colour.
I don't think I'll get a BU, but I'll definitely purchase similar colors (soft neutral pinks) from the permanent line and/or future collections.

I keep coming back to lemming the mineralize lip balms. Are they similar to UD lip junkie balms (they seem to settle down from high shine to mid shine nicely)? I like when a lip balm isn't too shine intensive but rather a mid/low shine moist look. My lips are very pigmented and I hate how my lips look combined with a high shine impact look ><

I have a couple UD Lip Junkie Lip Glosses - Perversion and Midnight Cowboy. Is that what you mean, the gloss? Or is there also a balm?

I'd say the MAC Mineralize Lip Balms are as shiny as UD LJ LG (which is very shiny on me), but not as sticky. I also think the MAC MLB are more moisturizing than the UD LJ LG.

Additionally, according to Liba here, the Mineralize Lip Balms can be blotted down to a less shiny look and still feel and look good, something I can't really do with the UD LJ LG.

You should really try that out. I think it's the #1 feature of these Mineralize balms that sets them apart. You can blot them down to almost zero shine and not lose the color or the moisture and you can do that even when applying them on top of lipstick.

There have been a lot of days lately where I've been feeling a bit haggard and wearing a full face of makeup is not really helping

, but a little of these balms and some Amber Glow/Alpine Bronze/Poised in one combo or another manages to make me look much much fresher and feel like a sprightly gal instead of a hag.

I finally caught up on this thread. I was in London last week and the week before of course was christmas, so I didn't have much time to read or post in this thread and Strenght (they were going too fast lol). I love all the pics and hearing everyones favs!

I've of course picked up some (ok a lot) myself as well. I was able to B2M for all the lippies in London yay! I also got Amber Glow while I was there, because the MUA applied it and it looked lovely. I've been wearing it a couple of times the last few days and it definitely shows up as a blush for me. It's very natural though and goes perfect with the lippies and MES in this collection. I went to my local counter saturday (I arrived back in the netherlands on friday) and I got all the MES, BU of Stereo Rose and a BU of HC and HA each and I also got the 287 brush and Fling brow pencil (I'm finally getting into doing brows woohoo!).

I got some more goodies in London that were not from this line (typing all of it out makes it sound even worse) Full Coverage foundation (I'm really liking this), MSFN (mine was finished), BB cream in tube, the eyeshadow applicator thingies to try with my Crushed Metallic Pigments, pigments in Pink Bronze, Chartreuse and Kelly Green, Winkle e/s and finally Mehr l/s. Mehr is definitely darker than HA and it will be a great neutral pink. I'm really excited about this big haul.

Ow and I also got three packages in the mail which had the lipsticks in Quick Sizzle (I was sad I swapped away my BU), Absolute Power and Strong Woman, the 136 brush and Chanel Frivole blush and a BU of Notorious! I'm expecting two more packages and then I should be done for this month. I did pay for some of the packages a while ago, so it was not all my december money, but still it was a lot. Last year Naturally came out in february here, so it was spread better than this year. I guess this year I'll spend less in february.
Amazing haul. You totally hit the makeup jackpot! ENJOY!

When I went to the counter yesterday the MA said that the 287 was fantastic for concealer! I might just have to pick it up :p
I had an LE version of this brush from a prior holiday set and LOVED it...so much so that I purchased two of the 287 this time. Totally agree---great brush!

Checked out this collection. Was going to get the lip balms and new brush. Didn't get balms as I wasn't mad on them-I prefer tendertones or chubby sticks but I lovvvveeeeeee the new brush. It's my Hg concealer brush for applying moistercover concealer- highly recommend.

That's what one of the main reasons I purchased the mineralized brush set from GD, so was happy to get a full size version with the release of AC!

The Perfect Cheek, Stark Naked, all those great natural rosy browns & gentle rosy dusty pinks & plums look great with HC
CartoonChic AKA CC recommended a nail color to go with Glamourdaze L/S but it's an even better match with HOT CHOCOLATE. It's Butter London's TOFF---love it so much! Just thought I'd put that out there for those who enjoy natural rosy browns, etc.
Thanks CC!

Yes sorry! My bad :) I got my words mixed up hehe. I just found that with the UD glosses that they aren't as sticky and that they settled down to a less shiny look after a bit. I think I will give the MAC mineralize balms a try and see for myself :) I am so easily enabled haha. Liba is a master of that with this collection!
