It pulls more blue purple on me than red. It does take getting used to because it is dark but I still like it.

NYX has a liner Deep Purple that I bet would rock with this lippy. Anyone having patchiness issues, I finally tried P&P lip and it works great on those Satin lippies that don't go on as satiny smooth as I'd like. Mocha and Watch Me Sizzle are too that have patchy issues on my lips (a Satin and a Matte) and they both went on super smooth with P&P lip. And, they still left that stain I really like. I don't know how I functioned before without Prep & Prime for the lips. It may even help me revive Cyber and Hollywood Nights...

I played with different lip pencils since I still had all of those swatches on my hand. MAC Currant, MAC Vino and NYX Deep Purple all bring out the redness in Yung Rapunxel. MAC Nightmoth definitely darkens the color. I find NYX Currant doesn't darken the color and helps to keep Yung Rapunxel cooler in tone even though there's some red in it. The red in NYX Currant is more muted than the other pencils.

Now if you're really after a cool toned purple, try MAC Plum. It does make Yung Rapunxel more gray. I didn't even consider Plum at first because I was focusing on darker purple pencils. I don't own MAC Stone, so couldn't try it. I was going to order it from the website, but it's not available. I'm hoping the store where I swatched it still has it. I also realized while doing this that I'm lacking in cool toned, dark purple pencils.

As an extra note, Smoked Purple pairs nicely with Nightmoth and Prince Noir with MAC Currant or Vino.

Just skim through the threads. I've seen a few people who posted that their orders were cancelled and might be interested.

I'd be interested if I thought I'd get through a whole tube in a short amount of time. I LOVE YR! But alas, it's just a going out shade for me. Definitely can't rock it everyday at work, haha.
