In the end, I decided instead of getting the brooke palette, that I'd just start my own one so I can know I'll like every shade and texture. I ended up picking sumptuous olive and satin taupe as my first two.

I ended up picking sumptuous olive and satin taupe as my first two. WOW.i was thinking the exact same thing, my first 2 mac eyeshadows were also satin taupe and sumptuous olive and like a month ago i got sketch, hidden motive, artistic license, blooming mad and deep fixation, and i already know all the other eyeshadows i want too complete my own 15 eyeshadow palette :)

I have been going back on forth on this palette too. I actually made a list of perm dupes for some of the shades in this palette to see if I really need it. I have a 30x palette that is half full that I need to fill.

There will definitely be some similar shades in the permanent range. The real draw here is that you could get an entire palette for for not much more than it would cost to fill the other half of yours. Like you said, you'll just have to see if you would like these shades enough to get them.

Making your own palette is so awesome. Like you I need to finish filling mine. :sigh: the struggle lol. I bought one over the weekend to put in my palette. It is half full now :)

I can relate...... It takes me a while to fill mine. I find that reorganizing the shades helps me see what I'm missing.

I might have done a bad thing... I was 100% on the x15 palette, but the waiting started to suck and I started to look at the new mufe shadows, and then I bought 6, and now I've got mufe "dupes" of the colors I wanted from the Brooke palette. So I don't know if I can get it anymore :( I feel bad, I LIKE Brooke Shields. I feel like I had a date set up with a great guy next Saturday but then I met ANOTHER great guy on Tuesday and went out with him right away. So now I'd feel bad if I canceled the date I used to be excited for, but I can't really give it my all... And the only thing guy 2 did better than guy 1 was to be available Tuesday night... Makeup is complicated.

It's so hard to choose! 210 is excessive... especially when so many that I want are out of stock right now... That makes me start looking at more colors instead of just waiting... idk now about the Brooke collex, maybe still the CCs and Excite...

I know many of the MUFE shades I want have been out of stock for a while. I have set trios I want to make, but my store only has 68 shades. So I have to wait for online. I ended up having a trio in mind but one of the shades was OOS in store so I replaced it. But I still want the other shade, so I have to add 2 more colors. I only want to get the trios for the discount.

Yeah, that was pretty genius giving the discount, GUARANTEES I'm going to buy 'em in threes... My first trio is Poppy, Tangerine and Buttercup. I feel like they will like awesome, do a metallic fiery look :) My second trio was the two different copper reds plus blue lagoon. But now I want to do a subtle, matte trio, or a tropical look like in the promo images (that would basically be the three I bought first plus blue lagoon and electric purple, and I already ordered blue lagoon...), it's just ENDLESS the looks I could create... and mufe already had amazing shadows, so to have IMPROVED on such a good formula is pretty fantastic... I really want that morello one, that looks so amazing in the swatches, I better switch over to the mufe thread now before everyone gets mad at me lol

You picked out nice shades, I am getting tangerine and electric purple. I have been waiting for a restock on Morello Cherry too. Okay, I'll try to stay on topic now....
