I poked around the counter with the testers of the shadows the other day! I know that I've already reviewed, but this time I could compare to some permanent shades side by side. Here are some more thoughts:
Deep Shade is like Contrast mixed with Deep Truth. Deep Shade is much bluer and deeper than Contrast, but more purple and less bright than Deep Truth. Sort of a medium between the two!
Henna is like a richer, golder, smoother, more pigmented Sumptuous Olive. It's sooo gorgeous I needdddd itttttttttt!
Femme-Fi is of course a repromote from Neo Sci-Fi and is a must have if you're in need of a frosted cream and Grand Entrance is too dramatic for you! I didn't try to dupe it, sorry. D: I just knew I loved it so I didn't even play with it.
The closest dupe for Flip I would say is Goldmine, but Goldmine is very yelllooooowwww frostiness. Flip is more of a true gold, like a bronzish gold, a little more orange in with the yellow.
I am still confused which is which when it comes to French Cuff and 100 Strokes! So I'll just describe by finish and how they look.
One is a light peach-pink-gold lustre. It seemed to be fairly close to Mythology, both in texture and color.
The other is a deep burgundy purple velvet. It is closeset to Sketch, especially since they are of the same texture. However, it is still unique because it is more purple based, where as Sketch is a little more reddish based.
Pincurl is an alright color. It's not my favorite, but it's a pretty nice white with a reddish frost sheen. It reminds me of Vellum but instead of a blue glow, it's got a subtle pink glow. It applies a little chalky for my liking now that I've been able to really play with it more.
I love Knight! It's a pretty deep grey. It has a subtle shimmer. But I'm biased to greys and blacks. The texture is very smooth since it's a Veluxe Pearl. If you are looking for a soft black, go with this! Most similar to Typographic mixed with Mont Black.
Top Knot is lovely. It's like Beauty Marked but Blue-purple. I recommend building it on the lid with a 242 for maximum color payoff on top of a Paint. It gives subtlest bluish shimmer. Love. No dupe.
The glosses are kind of boring and dupeable, though. Skip those. From the lipsticks, What a Do! looks poopy, All's Fair looks like it will be sheer and kind of annoying. Chignon reminds me of other colours (read: not super unique) and it's a glaze, which means nil for staying power. B-Babe isn't striking me as overly unique, either.
