The Smashbox 15 is more blunt/shorter brush whereas the 226 is a little bit longer and has a more slightly oval tapered shape if that makes sense. The 226 might be just a bit softer than the 15 too. And yes, you can do the same swiping motion with it perfectly.

There's also the Smashbox 30 which is similar to the 15..but way more scratchy.

Ok, so i returned top knot because it was just plain old black!!! I couldnt for the life of me get the glitter to show. I'm always sad to rturn a shadow, but, i couldnt hold onto it.
I got Henna in it's stead, and let me tell you, lovely! I dont think it looks like SO. It looks like it could be an olivey tone to it, but really its a dulled down true gold (what i think old gold should look like). A dulled down version of antique gold pigment. It's not a yellow based gold like, goldmine, but its very pretty.
Flip looked just like goldmine to me.

Hey! Today I wore Flip on the lid with 100 Strokes in the crease and Femme-Fi as a highlight, Redhead MSF, and All's Fair lipstick with Live and Dye lipglass over it. Looked really pretty!!!

So I went back and swatched French Cuff and it was so much prettier and deeper pink than I remembered it. I grabbed one because it looks like a nice crease color.

Of course, as I was at the counter I felt like I was glowing in my redhead MSF... and it started to make me wonder if I needed a back-up. Someone tell me there is way too much product in the MSFs to need a back up.

So I unexpectidly got my BBR in the mail tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3! I should have known that it wasnt going to take 5-8 days for it to get here- wtf!

I depotted my eyeshadows (I also got another pro pallet, and some SFF) and i think that flip is GORGEOUS... 100 strokes is pretty but I think it reminds me a ton of beauty marked in that im scared that the pretty flecks of color aren't going to show up in the end... :-/.... and henna looks really olively to me... maybe it will look different when i put it on- because I was hopeing for a really gold color.. I think that's what I thought that Flip was going to be

Strawberry blonde is GORGEOUS---> it has the best glitter in it... sooo pretty!

Its the only color Ive ever put on my lips where Ive looked in the mirror and said "omg I think i might need a backup of this."

Ok so I debated back & forth with myself today whether I should go to the counter and pick up b-babe and brunette msf...decided against it in the end, but I'm crying inside a little b/c I should have!! And now my husband is back from his business trip so I can't use the "shopping-to-drown-my-sorrows-b/c-i-miss-him" excuse anymore.

I need to get over there- but then I feel dorky b/c I am in there so much, the MAC girls probably think I'm crazy.

It's beautiful I couldn't resist it but I'm not gonna lie I might need to get my teeth whitened. lol. I'm so happy to hear you finally got your stuff!

As for makeup combinations, I like the idea of Flip on the inner corner of the lid, Deep Shade on the outer and crease, and Femme Fi to highlight. I don't have the e/s to try this combo out yet but thought saw an MA with it on and it looked really nice. Don't know if she added anything darker with it as I didn't ask.

Maybe its because I have been using the whitening strips the last few days- I swear Ive only used them 4 out of the 10 days and my teeth are already sooo much whiter.. its insane!!!

Great haul! I think I'm going to try What a Do! tomorrow, but I saw it on a coworker who has really fair skin and it looked really pretty on her. I bet it'd look really pretty on you as well.

True...at this rate I will have used those beautiful MSFs all up by 2 weeks! I still can't wait for shipping though..plus I have 3 packages coming from MAC in the next week from the F&F sale, so I think more than 3 and my husband might implode.
