Sorry, I don't know what to expect for hair matching makeup because I'm new to this. But I like this pic and this collection! Can you show me some links for this done by other brands just to help me understand more? I'm not sure if you can post them here or pm me if that is not appropriate?

I know, I thought the same thing when I saw this. She is beyond thin, IMHO. Maybe the angle of her pose enhances the fact, but wow.

I try to explain what I mean

For example L'oreal has made lipsticks here for your type of hair color.
These are gorgeous pics as well, but the models always look like: "Buy this lipstick and you will be beautiful."

I know you can't compare them, but I think that MAC promo pic says more: "Express yourself". I really like that MAC's promo pics aren't always these mainstream pics.

Does this make sense?

Makes perfect sense. And I totally agree. It's one of the things that sets MAC apart from other cosmetic companies.

bettybeauty is definately awesome. I tried their malibu blue with like a palm tree stencil and had the greatest time doing it all. Was super fun and super easy. Took some time make sure the palm was perfect but otherwise it turned out great!

You're absolutely right, Susanne! One thing I really like about MAC is that MAC doesn't tell us what we should look like. With MAC we, as women, are perfectly free to define ourselves, we don't even have to be "pretty"!

I love the promo picture although it was not what I had in mind. I was hoping for something a little more colorful and old fashion looking. That girl in the front is entirely too thin. It is almost shocking!
