I finally got knight, pincurl, and henna e/s from this collection. I only hemmed and hawed over getting those eye shadows for over a month. I figured that if I am still thinking about them then I should get them.

After what I just wrote I guess you really shouldn't listen to me Winnie. I obviously don't practice what I preach as I really should have just skipped those eye shadows!

I don't blame you for getting those e/s. If you've been thinking about them for so long, it shows that you really really want them.

I just realised these MSFs are each 9g. The Soft & Gentle I have is 10g and cost much less too!

Although 9g will last me forever as well, I feel cheated.

I was admiring my Blonde and Soft & Gentle when I saw that the mould of Soft & Gentle is much larger although I have been using it for months.

I didn't like Redhead initially, but it grew on me. I swatched it again today (although it was sold out but the tester was there), and I finally truly understood its gorgeousness. When layered over blushes, the effect is incredible. Oh well, just my luck. I hope the MSFs from Sugar Sweet will be just as good, there is the other one besides Perfect Topping that I'm hoping will have some resemblance to Redhead.

You know what i think? Wait till sugar sweet is out and try both the MSF's, if you still think that Redhead is the one for you then i am sure that you are going to be able to find it online, either on ebay or here in the clearance bin

^^ Sounds good to me. I am really tempted to just ask them to sell me the display tester though it is kinda unhygienic.

I was told, and I quote, "Refined is like the lightest Brunette, mixed with the medium Redhead, and darkest Blonde". Does that help?

I'm still playing with RED DEVIL l/g. Initially, if some of you recall, I hated it as it looked to frosty/light on my coloring. THen I tried it over See Sheer and I was much happier.

Well, today, I used it over LUSTERING, a color I don't much like alone either, and it is AMAZING. I mean, I fell in love with this combo. I use a very soft warm pink mineral blush with it and it's perfection.

I despaired before of buying a backup of RED DEVIL (and I splurged on two based on reviews and swatches), cause I hated it on me and set it aside for weeks. Well, now I'm glad I have that backup, cause LUSTERING and RED DEVIL together are working for me and I'm in pink-n-coralish joy.

I'm so glad when unwanted colors in my collection find redemption in a pairing. Yay.

If ya wanna see (though the pic is not perfect, since I'm using a 5 year old camera phone in indoor lighting, which doesn't seem to pick up the warmth all that well, and it looks a bit more pink and loses all the tiny bit of coral, but still looks pretty close): RedDevilOverLusteringMAC on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I only minimally use my Brunette and Blonde MSF (mostly Blonde, interestingly, though I'm a darkish olive tone). So, I'm not sorry I didn't buy Redhead (okay, maybe a tiny bit).

I think the tiny bit I use of the ones I have means they'll be there when I'm 70 years old.

That's the other MSF from sugar sweet right? Sorry 'cause I don't remember it's name.
tong.gif
It sounds dark enough to be used as a blush.
smiles.gif
I'm feeling a little better about missing Redhead now, but we'll see.

Mirtika: Why don't you like Lustering? I think it's a gorgeous color. Once I had class at 8:30am and I walked in with Lustering on my lips, got quite a few stares then.

Once you get Coral Polyp, I'm sure Red Devil can be paired with it as well.

Mirtika, that lip combo is lovely!

Winnie, yes, that's a MSF from sugar sweet, and it is suspected that it ought to at least be dark enough to be used a blush for me!

On Temptalia's site, the swatch of Refined looks too light for me.

I think I'll be skipping the MSFs in this collection.

OOOPS.
WROnG THREAD. HAHAH

But yeah, Refined is too light for me, I'm glad I got BBR MSFs.

Well there's the part about how u can use the Redhead MSF as a shadow and with the fantastic gradient, its almost like those japanese shadow palettes where they they even have the tutorial on where to layer what shade of pink.

If u are really keen on the Redhead MSF, try the Scotts counter at Lido Shaw Complex... I heard that there was a stock and they took off the "sold out" sticker from the Redhead MSF. Be sure to rush though. I'm lucky to have a MA who knows me so well that she reserves for me even before I asks because she knows I'll like it.
