I hate to say it but those stock product pictures do nothing for me. Yes some of the colors look pretty but they are inaccurate most of the time. I prefer Erine's swatches or will reserve my judgement until I see more swatches or in person.
The lipstick finishes are blah to me. Yes I sometimes like lustres and glazes but I am sick of MAC always bringing more of those out. What about some limited creamsheens? Come on MAC!
I have a feeling that where this collection is going to break me is the MSFs (I HAVE to get all three) and the shadows. That is going to be quite a bit since there are a lot of shadows and the MSFs are now $28 (according to the color story page).
I like the brushes as well but I tend to be pretty clueless when it comes to brushes so I will have to wait until you all give me ideas what to use them for and also how to use them.

Dammit! Why does this collection have to look so freaking good?! I am loving that 226 already! It has a fine point which is what I've been wishing MAC would do for a long time! I have a Chanel brush similar to that and it's my HG crease brush, can't wait for this one! And some of those shadows are gorgeous! I want 100 Strokes, Henna, the pink one and Top Knot or whatever it's called...
For the MSFs, I'm going to wait til I see them IRL, b/c they don't look that great to me right now, and I have 6 MSFs that I hardly use. The other brushes look kind of blah. The smudger brush will be great for smudging the eyeliner if it's anything like Smashbox's. Better than the 219! The other one, eh, I'm sure somehow they will sell it to me, but for now it doesn't look too special.

I totally agree, I was totally just talking about how useless stock product photos are, yeah they show you what a product will look like (ie shadow, palette, whatever) but cannot be relied on for any indication of what itll look like on someone. so frustrating, some are horribly off. And how annoying is it that Groundwork p/p on MAC's site is sooooo off. grrrr

I really am buying the whole collection. I am not kidding around. I might skip the brow set, but that is it. The blonde collection is by far my favorite, which is good since I'm blonde. I think the 214 looks like a smaller, denser version of the 239. It will be awesome for smudging, packing on color or some majorly precise blending. The 226 totally looks like one of my Chanel blending brushes which is awesome to use in the crease. I can't wait. All of it.......MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
