carbon goes on grey on me, too - i use a loreal black over it, it is really black.. go figure.
i like to go over eye liner with carbon because liners go grey on me, too and for some reason as a liner carbon stays black.

Black Black is a paintpot so you won't have to worry about fallout! If you don't have access to a Pro store you'll need to call them over the phone to order it since this is a Pro only item. I'm so tempted to get it! You'll only have to worry about the fallout with Dark Soul pigment. HTH!

I saw it on the PRO site and Black Black is a pigment? That's why I was worried about fallout. Maybe you're thinking of Blackground Paint Pot?

Usually 24 hours seems like a pretty solid bet when I do mine. GL sweetie, HTH!

thanks hun! gona keep searching for 91% alcohol than! i cant buy it in any pharmacy here in uk, so i guess i stick to ebay!

So i tried carbon over blackround paint pot, and its beautiful for smokey eyes!

I guess i just cant use it in the crease on its own, as it shows up as gray.

I swatched carbon, black tied and typographic last day i was at mac, and typographic had much better colour pay off, although it still wasnt really dark deep black, but i guess it will show up more in the crease or outer v than carbon.

You can still use it in your crease...try this; use Smolder kohl to kind of shade in the area where you want the heaviest concentration of black, smudge it out a bit with your finger, and then put the Carbon over that. It should help amp up the black for you a bit...

As for the 91% alcohol, you should be able to find 70% and 99%, or something similar, correct? If you can manage to get both of those, just mix a bit of the lower percentage with the higher percentage, and it'll give you a fairly close mixture to 91%. HTH sweetie!
