Finally! Just finished reading all the posts that I've missed. Been away for a week (was in Hong Kong for vacation).

Honestly, nothing much from this collection for me. I'd definitely get the Lavender Fix+ and maybe the grey paint pot. Though I'm still not too sure about the grey paint pot, as I already have the grey MUFE aqau cream. and I spent wayyyy too much money on Tartan Tale and Hong Kong duty free.

The bf put Sir Teddy in my luggage after I've packed it, so that I'd see the teddy on the next day (07Nov) when we arrive at Hong Kong.

I do not even get to Greasepaint Sticks to show up on my waterline, same as with the MUFE liners.
Maybe you could try one of the MUFE liners first if the Greasepaint Sticks are hard to find. A lot of people love those.

I do not even get to Greasepaint Sticks to show up on my waterline, same as with the MUFE liners.
Maybe you could try one of the MUFE liners first if the Greasepaint Sticks are hard to find. A lot of people love those.

fix+ is a good staple product to have in your kit so it is worth getting. plus the bottle lasts ages even if you use it each day

Especially if you have sensitive skin you really need to stay away from it.

That's the very first time I hear that. I've always heard and read that lavender e.o. is the one essential oil that can be used pure on the skin and has calming properties on irritated skin. I've used it on my sensitive skin (in beauty masks, scalp massages etc) for years and never had any problems from it. I even rub lavender flowers between my hands during summer to get the e.o. on my hands and spread it in my hair as a perfume. Of course all essential oils must be used carefully, in small quantities etc, they can be toxic if used pure or too concentrated, but I've always heard only good things about lavender

I have heard and read the same thing! I was googling "lavender used on skin" and it said lots of good things... Even good for acne-prone!
But after seeing Katjamo's post o0o goodness.. now I'm conflicted! Maybe I'll have time to read some reviews when it comes out before I purchase... :shrug:

I agree - I have used lavendar on my skin for years and it has always had a very positive effect. It is also great on a itchy scalp - and Aveda stylist gave me that tip years ago.

Any essential oil can be irritating if you are sensitive to it (that goes for pretty much any ingredient), one has to go by their own personal experience. Lavendar is something I always have on hand. Also, I don't always agree with Paula Begoun's (cosmetic cop) opinions.

I also use Lavender on my skin for years now and for me it just works great. YMMV, as with many things, e.g. I cannot use Fix+ but a lot of other people can. Guess it depends on the concentration and what kind of oil.

I won't be getting anything lavender scented simply because I can't stand the smell of lavender!

I'm terribly allergic to lavender and it's really hard to avoid because the French put it in everything and it's often just a major component of 'parfum' or 'fragrance' on an ingredients list rather than being itemized. However, it's the only flower I know I'm allergic to which tells me it has some unique properties and is probably great for lots of uses for lots of people

I think you can usually tell quite quickly if a plant extract is going to seriously disagree with you so don't be afraid to test it out.
