I visited my counter yesterday - all the MES were sold out! I did not expect that all. But I am still glad I have passed them.

Warm Blend and Smooth Merge were sold out as well, and blush Fab-dabulous.

I have no issues with the glitter in Soft & Gentle so ended up with Cheeky Bronze and Porcelain Pink as I already have Smooth Merge, the 131 and 226 on the way.

What I was extremely disappointed about is that MSF's are now $68NZ here

The price hike is completely insane, as I'm sure I only paid around $55 for Perfect Topping. I had to laugh though as I had a nightmare the other week that MSFs were now $72NZ so I wasn't far off the mark!!! lol

I swatched Made with Love and Colour Crafted lippies and thought they were both gorgeous. Coloured Crafted is sooo pretty and definitely looks like a combination of Angel and Saint Germain which are two of my favs. Eclectic Edge is also gorgeous so I might pick these up later.

Really? i was sold some MSF for $58 from Arthur Barnett in Dunedin. you should get that checked out.

Smooth Merge is sold out here as well, so is Assemblage. I'm waiting for them to be released at the last counter here, then I'll go and grab them.

I double checked the boxes when I got home and they are price marked $68. I wonder if someone made a mistake then. When I questioned the MA, I asked if there had been a price increase and she said only a small one. $68 seems like such a huge increase when the e/s and l/s only went up $2.

Thanks hun, I'll ring the Pro Store in Auckland tomorrow and ask what they're selling them for.

I would actually prefer Daft Pink to Pleasantry and Love Rock, because it is lighter in its pinkness.

Yes, it would look very pretty on you too

I like the subtle pink colour, because it means that I don't have to be too careful with it - I hate "doll cheeks"! I don't want to look like Barbie with my blonde hair and blue eyes

Yes, that's exactly why I always did not get a colour like this. Too much of it and I imagine it would look weird on me

Thanks, I will give Daft Pink a try next time I am at the counter. If they still have one left that is.

Winnie, there's a new MAC at Orchard ION, they opened today.
I think they have still the whole collection!
I just grabbed the postcard, I'm finished with this collection, I have to save for the fall collections!

I agree that Daft Pink is a very soft and subtle colour, not garish at all. That was also one of the reasons I fell for it. But people who are very sensitive to shimmer and glitter do best to stay away!

Weird that I never see any palettes on display though.

Yes , at Taka they have the pallettes, I got the 15 eyeshadows one and it was 25 SGD, they also have the one for blushes but I don't know the price.
They are displayed behind the cashier.

What did you get from this collection? I still want sooo many damn things from it.

Oh well, I collect cheek products so this collection is bound to kill me.

Wow so you're one of the few (I mean, many) who visited ION on its day of opening?
greengrin.gif
I should go check it out soon, I wonder if I'll see any familiar MAs at the counter there.

I got only Cheeky bronze, I love it, so I'm very happy.
I thought I was going to buy more but the news from the fall collections made me think twice, I'm sure I'll spend a lot of money on Euristocrats II ( if they will launch it here), Love that look, Black style, Mac for artists and the nail lacquer collections, I already started to save!

Yes, I went to ION but it wasn't planned, my son wanted to have lunch at Wisma Atria so while we were next door I thought of going, very crowded so my son was a little bit restless and we decided to go home.
The new MAC seems quite big, I really just walked in, grabbed the postcard and walked out, going shopping with a child it's not funny!
But I plan to visit again soon, on my own though!

when i brought mine all of the MSF scanned up as $68 apart from cheeky bronze, which was $58 so the girl edited the prices for me. $68 is too steep considering the sugar sweet ones were $52. I hope hope hope that the MSF arent actually $68 as i want to go back for porcelain pink. two more dollars and i could have the 226!

I was going to CP all my MSFs but didn't because at $27US + tax + shipping, at the current exchange rate there wasn't a huge saving if they were still between $50-$55NZ. Plus I wanted to pick them out.

Now I wish I'd just CP'd them all!

I didn't bother buying the brushes here as I knew the prices would be scary considering the 109 is $90NZ

Dare I ask what the 131 is?

These MES turn out to be quite popular, don't they? I will get my MES from Style Black. I'm excited for those.
