Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

I have decided to get both, an advanced brush set and a basic brush set. As I said earlier I haven't got any SE brushes besides from the 129 SE from Fafi, and I really like working with the short handled brush.

. i will be 1st in line for this because i know it will sell-out quickly due to that fact that it's so unique.

^^ I havent seen a truly unique red mac pigment yet so I will be waiting with baited breath on this one. Ruby Red & Accent Red are good examples of this, so hopefully we wont see the same repeat with Royal Flush and Heritage Rouge.

I'm kind of in 2 minds about the brush sets.

The basic set was my first Mac brush purchase, and later on I got two of the advanced sets too. Since then I have got some of the full sized individual ones to fill the gaps.

My first basic set was a really good intro to decent brushes and I still use it, and the short handles are great for travel. They have really lasted well.

But the later ones I bought (advanced) do seem lower quality than my first set and to my individual ones. Some brushes seem worse than others for this. I wonder if they were maybe trying to keep the price too low with the advanced sets and were compromising a bit on quality? Would not buy that again, just add individual brushes to what I had.

Still think the basic set is a great first brush set though.

At first when I saw these charts, I thought, "Ewwww." But after looking at them for more time, I really like them and the almost dark elegance to them. Or am I just being weird?

lol

Though, right now, Inner Hue is sort pretty and perfect for summer!
