MAC - Colour Forms Discussion

I just noticed that colour forms is not available for purchase anymore on nords' site. Is that it? Is the avnniversary sale over so they pulled all the exclusive products?
How annoying, I was going to buy a shirt & figured I'd get something from colour forms since I had to pay for shipping anyhow. Maybe they will put it back on the site later today? Ugh!!!

I just checked & the collection is back on the site(except for what is sold out of course)

How are you guys finding the brush sets? How big are the bags (not the brush holders) that come with it? A friend wants the basic set as a starter kit and in looking for an online source for her rather than paying AU$110 (ouch) I'm starting to like the look of the advanced set. Argh, being an enabler works two ways! These won't be released in Australia for another week or so I think.

And then whether to get purple/blue or green ... The purple looks cooler but I was also thinking of getting the small jacquard bag which has a green lining and it would match if I got the green set! If the Colour Forms bag is too big for me to carry around then I thought I could pop the brush holder into the jacquard bag.

I have the basic set. The brushes themselves are ok. You need to wash them a couple times before using to get them soft. The foundation brush is pretty good, the 129 after a couple of watches isn't bad. The fluff brush is still not good. The two smaller brushes are also decent.

The bag though is pretty big. I've used it on a couple of trips this month and was pleasantly surprised at how much I was able to fit into it.

Ergh. I'm really confused now. I just checked the Nordstorm site and I don't see the Colour Forms collection anywhere. And I wanted a red brush set bad. ;( Does this mean it's over for Colour Forms?

I believe they take everything down and ships start shipping to cco's as soon as the anniversary sale is over. Can anyone confirm that?

So i finally got Inner Hue and Naked to the Core lipsticks

Inner Hue is very reddish coral on me...but not over the top. I wuv it. I used EZ baby tendertone and sock hop lipglass over it and it was h-o-t for summer

Naked to the Core is like Fleshpot in a lustre formula, kinda. To me. But Fleshpot is my favorite lipstick so that worked out. naked to the core is different though, I just cant put my finger one how.

These are lovely. I love them. Thank you.

Yay! You finally got your lipsticks! I'm happy. =) I remember you talking forever ago about them! They must look so lovely on you!

I'm still kinda.. ehhh about not picking up Naked to the Core at least, but that's what saving money involved. Heh. =)

I was today at Nordstrom i saw they still had all the stuff out but didnt saw any brush sets .

I stopped by Macy's today and they were unpacking Colour Forms!!!! They got the displayer with the 2 powders, lippies,pigments, richmetal highlighters and lipsticks. They didn't get the red pigment or Naked to the Core.

I was shocked to see it!

Wow I am shocked that Macy's would get that collection since it was a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale exclusive.

Any dupes for Rolled Gold?

Hi there, does anyone know of any dupes of the Rolled Gold e/s in the Nordstroms Warm Eyes palette? I LOVE this color, but not the rest so much. I've already compared it to Golden Olive & Sumptous Olive and those are NOT what I'm looking for. Thanks for any suggestions!!!

I was shocked too!! I was at Macy's in Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, New Jersey this past saturday, and there it was! I'm very CONFUSED!!!

elegant-one, I got my Naked to the Core yesterday and you were right, this is a very good nude lipstick for me. Thanks for recommending it.

I also got my brush sets (basic and advanced) yesterday. Those brushes are super tiny and very nice for travelling.
