Noooo, it is absolutely NOTHING like Chartreuse. Chartreuse is a yellow green. Other than the gold sparkle in Warm Chill, it has no yellow. It is a pale mint green, with a touch of blue.

They look right to me. Warming Trend looks very different on me though, not as silver. But if I remember right, Tinkerbelle has a darker skin tone than me so that could be why.

So, I'm a little behind and I finally saw the swatches and I am in absolute love!! Those shadows looks perfect and I think MAC could not have dreamed up any better way to entice me into buying some slimshines! Heeellllooooo second traincase!

After seeing the swatches I definitely want Solar White, Warming Trend, Warm Chill, and either Gulf Stream or Cool Heat...not sure yet...I love how Climate Blue looks but the texture is not my fave and I have deep truth already which looks alot like Blue Flame....as far as the slimshines go I'm eyeing Tropic Glow, By Degrees and Gentle Simmer...not sure which one I'm going to get though!....I'm super excited

I am hoping that solar white will be close to pollen. That is my most favorite highligher of all time. Ernie can you compare the two possibly?!

I'm just sooo on the fence about Solar White. It looks an awful lot like Vanilla pigment...and I have a whole jar of that damn thing, and I don't use it all that much. I just don't know if I need another look-alike. How close are we talkin' Vanilla p/g is to Solar White?

they are similar is base color only. pollen is a soft gold only, while solar white has a gold/touch of pink duochrome. completely different from each other as a whole.

they are close. vanilla has more of a pink duochrome, but solar white has gold. this is swatched on paper mind you, as i don't have solar white. i was only able to swatch it once in my update book.

Well, we'll see then. I'll probably end up with it, lol! Based on Tinkerbelle's swatches, it does seem to deposit more "color" than Vanilla pigment does, though. Vanilla just looks like my skin color with shimmer on it.

don't know what to do about warming trend, need to see more pics of it on lighter skintone, so please girls post swatches as soon as you can!

and well, the rest... i have parrot and deep truth and love them but barely wear them... however... cool heat and blue flame are calling my name!!! THEY ARE GORGEOUS!!!

the rest don't interest me, climate blue is a velvet.. enough said! and warm chill and gulf stream are just, meh!

don't really like any of them lip colours, and i have wayyy too many lippies and glosses, like, seriously!

Yep, skintone definitely makes a huge difference. Shore Leave looked like a light champagne colour on the model when i went to a 'seminar' for NN, but on me, it looked very silvery.

Solar White to me looks closest to Rose Blanc just based on the preliminary pics and descriptions. White wheat doesn't really have any pink to it iirc. If it is close to Rose Blanc, that'll be another one I can pass on.

I think rose blanc is different than solar white....RB is more of a yellow base with subtle gold shimmer where as SW seems like its a true white with a gold duochrome shimmer if that makes any sense...lol...RB is definitely more gold...

exactly pixie. they are completely different. solar white is white wheat with a bit more gold and a hint of pink.
