I just tried on my Kirsch with Mahogany l/l and CoC on top. It is the sex.
I have finally found a red lipstick I love.
Oh and Spiced Chocolate is love. Brash is gorgeous and I love Nanogold, it has a pretty pink cast on me which is different than any highlighter I already own.

Finally caught up, too bad I can't respond to everything I want!
I wore Spiced Chocolate Quad today!
Brash on inner half of lid, Sweet Chestnut on outer half of lid, pulled up past the crease. Lined lower lash line with Spiced Chocolate and in the outer V + crease where I don't have a crease. Then Nanogold to highlight. SO sexy, SO autumn! Then I pulled out Queen's Sin and used that. And Dainty on the cheeks. I felt SOOOO sexy, like all eyes on me.
Went out to dinner with the bf and I just felt like the waiters just kept looking at me.
I'll put up a picture next week.
I want Kirsch to come SOOO badly now!!!!! ARGH, should have tried it on in the store!
Tomorrow! Tempting Quad and Liqueur will make a debut!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this collection!
I want to order Bing now too. And I want to order O.
And Adina makes me want Chockful.

I really like the mahogany liner. I'm glad to hear it works with Kirsch. My Kirsch and SS haven't arrived yet.

I don't have any CoC to play w/ yet, so for the past month in anticipation of this collection, I've been totally obsessed w/ cherry stuff! I bought cherry print kitchen towels at Target last week, last month I bought bottles of Black Cherry Effen vodka, Godiva Liqueur, and Cherry Pucker. All this CoC talk is getting me all excited, I'm gonna go make myself a drink!

creme cerise is a pretty nice lipstick. i don't think it's something anyone can't live without though.
lightly ripe looks much darker in the tube than it does when it's actually applied, which i find to be rather nice. the colour is pretty buildable which isn't always the case with lustre finish lipsticks.
so scarlet was kind of a let-down for me. i expected this amazing new red shade, but it just didn't live up to that. something about it just didn't really keep my attention.
i have some mad love for kirsch, bing, chockful and rapturous simply because they're mattenes. i didn't buy any of them, but they're sure nice to look at.
liqueur is a really nice, neutral lipglass that i think is perfect for any darker toned wearer. the multipearl in it is really awesome.
cherry blossom, to me, seems to be a dead ringer for sugar trance. i've already got a tube of sugar trance and rarely use it, so even though cherry blossom is one of those lighter pinks (and we know how i love them light pinks) is was pretty easy for me to pass.
rich & ripe and jampacked lipglass weren't really as impressive as i thought they would be either...but that might just be because i didn't find them to be wearable for me at all.

So I caved & bought Ripe & Ready l/g today - i'm sooo in love with the color, it's beautiful...BUT I brought mine home & opened it to play with it and I immediately smelled plastic... it doesn't have the vanilla smell at all, it already smells like crayons or whatever happens when a l/g reaches retirement.
Has anyone else had this problem with Ripe & Ready or did I get a fluke? I'm too picky about smells to use it.. but I don't want to exchange for another one if they are all like this

Ummm....why do I have 20 pages to catch up on here?
I pretty much love everything I hauled.....could have lived without Creme Cerise, but I'll figure out how to make it work. Now I am really really loving Kirsch, Bing, Chockful mattenes - I forgot how much I missed my dark matte lipsticks.
So Scarlet is absolutely beautiful!
Considering getting a backup but I probably won't because while it's gorgeous, I don't think I'll wear it very often. I'm just happy to have it to wear every once in a while. I will however be getting a backup of Rich & Ripe l/g. It is my favorite l/g of the collection, hands down. I adore this color! MAC has really outdone themselves with this collection.

Oh dear ladies, you have no idea what keeping up with this thread has done to me! I just dreamt about CoC swatches.
I've been trying to decide what I need from this collection (that's right, what I need
). So far I want Lightly Ripe, So Scarlett, Cherry Blossom, Cult of Cherry and Blooming. I know that's far more than I should really spend, but I feel like Spiced Chocolate quad is calling out to me. And after you all raving about the mattenes I'm thinking that I should add one of those to my list too. And maybe Rich and Ripe...And Jampacked...
I'm going to be like a kid in a sweetie shop when we finally get CoC over here!

I haven't bought this much from a MAC Collection in over six months!
The Spiced Chocolate quad is really nice but Kirsch really brought it all together.
This was my first time ever trying Mattene's, and I love them! My lips weren't dried out and there wasn't that heavy perfumed scent that a lot of lipsticks have.
I swatched the Spiced Chocolate quad with some other colors I had.
Brash looks similar to Coppering to me. Brash has a tiny bit of brown in it.
Spiced Chocolate looked exactly like Smashbox Etch.
Sweet Chestnut has more brown than Cranberry. These were the only two that looked different when swatched on my arm.
I am slightly disappointed with the payoff in these new releases. I had to swipe the colors in the new shadows at least twice to get the same payoff with one swipe of my old shadows (like Coppering & Cranberry).
Anyway, I'm keeping the quad. It's nice having all of the colors in one palette than trying to manage the dupes which are in several different palettes or pots.
