All the FOTDs are gorgeous. I have been so on the fence about this collection and if I should get anything.

I really want Tempting quad but I already have Tempting and Dark Edge... Can you dupe Sharp? Sharp reminds me of Chartreuse or Bitter... would you say I can dupe Sharp with either of those two.

The lips looks brilliant and I am going to get Kirsch from Audrey's FOTD and maybe one more like Cult of Cherry.

My planned haul so far is...
Spiced Chocolate quad
Kirsch mattene
Cult of Cherry l/g
Lightly Ripe l/s
Creme Cerise l/s
Rapturous mattene

I have about enough empties for 3 B2Ms... so will only need to buy one lippie and a lipglass and the quad.

I am NW/C20... which blush do you think would suit me?

Did you see the FOTD I posted about earlier, where a girl used Bitter instead of Sharp? I thought it was lovely and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two.

Thanks! I was wondering if Liqueur was different than Major Minor which I already have and love. I figured it had to be a bit darker based on the swatch photos. Looking forward to getting it now.

I did a CoC inspired FOTD wiht dupes and I think if you have bitter you really don't need sharp.

I saw that earlier... GORGEOUS!!! I am def passing on Tempting. I did a look today with Eyepopping instead of sharp and used my Dark Edge and Tempting... OMG... I love it. I will be posting a FOTD later. This has to be my favourite look with the berry colour lips. I used Classic Dame mattene and Pop Mode l/g.

I can see me wearing the dark lips all winter... LOL. I didn't think i could pull it off because i am so light... but i love the look. I have fallen in love and may get every lippie and gloss in this collection.

I am still undecided about the blushes - I will just pick up ONE (after taking a look in my blush box yesterday evening), but I guess I must see them in real which one I will pick up though

I usually have five fav collections per year:
This year's are /will be Heatherette, Cool Heat, Cult of Cherry, Manish Arora and Red She Said. The last two because of the packaging.

I think the blushes would look wonderful on you. I use Plum Du Boi on the cheekbone and Blooming on the apple of the cheek. It makes a stunning flush. Not too dark. Not too light.

no contest, for me, smoke & diamonds is the best, i love it! I like the quads of the CoC, the lipglasses etc but for me, if I had to choose b/w smoke and diamonds and ANY ONE item from CoC---smoke & diamonds would be coming home with me.

I am sad, as I didn't get a backup. Its that good.

I did say ONE item from CoC---don't go making me choose b/w ONE smoke & diamonds and all the CoC stuff I've bought already or am to receive...then CoC would win just as an aggregate.

But one product on its own, DEFINITELY get Smoke & Diamonds. Its sold out everywhere (for me), and both on the US and Cdn mac sites. its that good.

I have to tell you, as much as I LOVE the CoC, I would get Smoke & Diamonds. It is the only shadow that I have purchased a backup for because they are already sold out online and now at all my stores here. It really is so versatile and can be used with just about any combination you can think of.

Well after spending almost an hour in the chair getting tuned up by my MA, I ended up only buying:

Spiced Chocolate quad
So Scarlet l/s
Cult of Cherry l/g

oh, and a lip primer. I am a bit ashamed to be posting with such a weak haul ...LOL
We tried Plum du Boi , but he said that my Peachtwist looked good, and that the Plum would not be versatile enough to buy.
Also, he lined my lips with a purple/plum pencil, but either he forgot to sell it to me, or thought my Half-Red was fine. Hmmm, I might need to go back to the store. Anyway, it was a fun night with all the other MA's coming up to us and going on about my eyes. I hope I can recreate what he did.

I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with a collection! I had to refrain myself from purchasing the entire collection. But I still ended up with:

And I will most likely go back for Liquer l/g, which surprises me - I don't own anything quite like it but it really looked beautiful over ALL the darker lippies of the collection. I tried it on over Kirsch and it was HOT HOT HOT! I might go back for Bing too because WOW so stunning. The MA who helped me was wearing Chockful & it looked awesome on her, but that was the only lippie I was sure I could pass on.

Plum du Bois is not muddy at all on me & I'm NC25. Its a gorgeous plummy mauve shade with a bit of gold frost, but not too overly so. I don't have any blushes like it, so I grabbed it. Blooming, on the other hand, did not show up on me. So sad because it looked so pretty in the pan.

And all the lippies in the collection are gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. I could write a 28903478967 page review on them all, but instead, I'm just going to stare at them...

Thanks for the review of Plum du Bois, now I will swatch it when I see it.
Maybe it will be more brown on me (NW20)? Cannot decide if I want it to be nice or not

The *only* item I have from CoC happens to be Chock-ful. I posted photos in another thread, (one where I thought I could hide more easily, as
I'm extremely shy about posting photos. )

The model in the photo looks sooo amazing! Now I want to do my hair a Bluer Black.

I definitely think you can pull it off. The key to a lot of these mattenes for me is what I put on top of them. With chockful, liquer really tones down the too brown-ness of it. You would rock it!
