MAC Daphne Guinness Discussion

I really hope MAC comes out with a true lilacy/lavenderish blush. My lilac blush from Origins is just about finished. That was the most awesomest purple blush ever. Unfortunately, they discontinued it. I HATE when that happens.
I skipped Sakura because I thought it would have too much pink in it. I'm interested in Azalea Blossom, but I'm hearing it too is more pink than purple. I have Dirty Plum, but that is a dark purple. I want something lighter.

My Azalea Blossom is more pink than purple too - probably less than a third purple. I still think it's very cute, though. If you really need a purple blush, I think it's only a matter of time before we see a real all the way one - maybe next fall.

like all ombres and MES etc they are not perfectly made one from the other. My vintage grape has more of the dark, which I like... my azalea is marked sample is from a store.

I know me too! I saw it at my CCO and thought about getting a backup but decided not to. It's a really pretty color! I need to break mine out too!

Chillin looks amazing over Go For It and other purples - also over nudes to make them cooler too. I missed my chance to back it up and am down to less than half the tube at this point, so maybe I'll go for Borealis. I still am not convinced it's going to look as blue as Chillin in person, considering the description is "pale grey pink w/ iridescent pearl pigments". Maybe it's Chillin' in reverse, which had the blue base but the pink sheen.

In any case, I hope you get a good color grading with your new order. Just call the store and ask for one and they will happily send it to you.

I'll say that Bruised Sky and Interior Life are wonderful colours. Smooth and soft. The dark grey Heather Belles is also nice. Stratus is not showing up hardly on my NC20 skin, but it will make a decent very nude highlighter with the rest of the quad.

Got it in a swap with somebody who was a MUA in a store. I will be ordering I think. Who knows... I will be in Spain though bummer.

I'm interested in Japanese spring cremesheen glass and Azalea Blossom. Thats about it.
However, I would put the iris Aphel l/s as a priority so I'll have to see how far my budget stretches esp since its around new years/xmas/BOXING DAY SALES!

Thanks for swatching katjamo, that confirmed I can skip the quad. I'm also not as interested in Circa Plum now that I've seen swatches of the older version but I'll check out the new one anyway. I kinda have a feeling I'm going to end up with a very small haul from this collection. I'm curious to see the ombre blushes in person, on my skin.
