Since I have yet to hit pan on any shadow, I'd say I will never buy a back up. Unless there is something unique about the color AND the finish. I almost tempted to order a backup of both Going Bananas and Sassy Grass but I resisted. I placed an order on another So Bad! DTW since on Wednesday, I didn't have enough funds so they processed it since Friday so now I have two of them on the way!

I keep resisting, but it's soooooo pretty and these lipglasses wear so well. And I kinda want Sassy Grass....and maybe Lime...

...and I'm making myself wait till Thurs for Prolongwear for my next Mac venture.

Yeah, about 60 second after I posted I realized that I'm just gonna hop on a bus after work, go to Nordstroms, and buy Sassy Grass, Ban This, and Chrome Yellow. Gonna cross my fingers that they have Prolongwear out or at least a VV preview. And if not, I'll go back Thursday on lunch.

Well,

I went back to Nordies and picked up Bold & Brash l/g today.

I wore Magenta l/l with Gimme That! l/g and man my lips looked HAWT!

If I could have I would have kissed my own lips!

I know I want to b/u Gimme That! and Ban This! since they are so unique but what if MAC makes them permanent like they did with the Dazzle Glasses!

wearing ban this! gloss today... seriously i love this collection so much! my fave of the year so far! i love all the colours of everything and although i couldnt buy everything i wanted it's still my fave!

I've been doing that combo a lot too, I find it makes gimme that look so much sharper.

I agree, it's been nice to have something full-on in-yer-face colour.. it's been all about the muted colour this year. :S

plus i love how these glosses last on the lips! literally i get half a days wear before it goes patchy and i either re-apply or wipe it off

Mine goes in a weird tacky/sticky/patchy mess within abour 2 hours tbh, which sucks. I think it's just too thick for me. :S

aw that sucks

how much are you using? because i literally do my lips with whatever comes out on the wand - i don't double dip or anything. i tried it once and it looked too heavy!

Clearly, the MAC gods want me to be patient and wait until Thursday to get these because I went out to the bus stop after work and waited...and waited...and waited...like 45 minutes and the bus never came! After that, I said "Screw it, I'll just go Thursday as planned." All else fails, the colors are still online.

Well, I get very little product out in one dip so I do have to double dip. I just think I possibly I should try layering some other glosses on top and see if it helps?

maybe? or perhaps you could use a lip stain underneeth? so that it won't look patchy quite so quickly? are you using the gloss on top of a lipstick? because generally i just use these one their own because they are so pigmented
