wow! i'm shocked going bananas has gotten bad reviews from people on MUA! yes most people here do love it! like myself!

it's a very smooth shadow which i like - great texture!

got shock a holic, sassy grass, and louder please this morning. they are seriously way brighter than c-shock ever was! i was iffy on sassy grass because i was afraid it might look too close to wondergrass but erine's swatches squash that assumption!

Sassy Grass looks absolutely incredible! If you want it, go for it! It definitely looks better than Kelly in swatches IMO.

How soon do you think I should try to reserve? Maybe a week more? Or should I wait until a week before the collection???? Help!

Saw the collection today while picking up my ITG haul.

OK, those Dare To Wear glosses are CRAAAAAZZZYY!

Bold & Brash is the ultimate bright shiny science fiction red of my dreams. What Martian robot love slaves wear when go-go dancing at the lunar nightclubs in the year 2210.

Ban This! and Gimme That! were also stupendous. Even Wind Me Up, which isn't my sort of color, looked bad ass!

The product weight is a little heavier than cremesheen glass, despite the skinnier tube. My guess is that with the huge amount of shimmer particles in it (it's like 50% gloss base and 50% super-micro shimmer powder!!), you're going to get less product, even though it weighs more.

The good news is this stuff is opaque with even a moderate application - it's hard to sheer it down. You won't need to use much.

Also, you need heavy lifting to remove them, even before they set. 'Had to use a wipe then a bunch of cleansing oil. I'm sure this formula will wear like a champ.

Anyhow, I'm not usually a back-up type of person, but I WILL be getting some with these glosses. They go on sale on July 29th as said elsewhere and are $18 each

I think I'm going to get it regardless of what MUA says. Sometimes the reviews have been wrong in my opinion.

I know if I don't get it I will regret it.

Louder Please was very reddish, although if you blend it down you see the pink more. I'd say it will be hard to get a good snapshot of it. So far, Erine's big swatch in the swatch thread is the most accurate photo.

For some reason, Shockaholic wasn't doing anything for me. It's certainly very wearable, but I feel like I've seen enough reddish purples. (The purple I'm dying to see is Vile Violet from VV)

I may end up with all the shadows bc I am such a collector.

Seeing them all lined up I feel like I have to buy Lime, as well. But, it is a pro color and I don't wear green to often.

I have to draw the line somewhere- 4 of the glosses and all the LE shadows are coming home with me.

because it is stupidly bright i think for daytime i would wear it on the lid with club in the crease - that always tones down bright shadows. maybe humid would look good with it too for an ultra green look!

That reminds me - the MUA warned me the lip glosses are going to be extremely limited quantity. He was recommending i call him up a week ahead and make sure to have an order in. I can't remember exactly the figure he gave me, but I think it was they were only going to get 8 or 10 of each color, and this is at the highest volume freestanding MAC store in Los Angeles.
