Mac has a long history of doing blue and green lip glosses and l/s. They keep bringing them back so they must sell somewhere. They would have sold a ton of Comet Blue's, especially with Fashion Mews and Lavender Whip l/s.
They are usually sheer, good to layer over other lip products.

This one is calling my name: Moth to Flame Sheer ~ neutral beige with violet pearl, yum!

I guess all the stinky rags to riches can be b2m.

oh i know they have a history of it, but they don't tend to stick around permanently. and if they do, they are usually DC'd later on, such as squirt and the other one i can't think of right now. the only one that's stuck around longer than any other is spring bean, and i think that's due to the fact that it can also be worn on its own without looking green. you can't wear comet blue solo without looking like you just schlepted (sp?) in from the arctic tundra.

I wear them over other stuff, but back in the day...I used to wear white mascara too.
I also live in nyc, so weirdness is accepted.

Damn straight!! I use my Comet Blue over Lavender Whip now and its GORGEOUS!!!! I am hoping my Fashion Mews will come soon so I can use it with that too...LOL! I bought a second Comet Blue pretty recently as well and I am glad I did

LOL.. I totally agree with you! I have 1 Spanking Rich, 1 Ms Fizz and 3 Glamour OD's.. I bought 2 backups because I knew MAC isn't going to make them permanent.. Whenever I love a gloss, it is always discontinued.. I think I should stop loving a gloss if I want to have it forever

But back to the subject of dazzleglasses...

How sheer are these bad boys? because every time i see them i love the color in the tube, but i can help but wonder that when you put it on your lips (or in my case another persons lips) you just get really glittery clear gloss

Some are more sheer than others but I find most of them to be fairly pigmented. At least pigmented enough that they look great on their own and over lipsticks!
