Casual Lip & Cheek Colours are making a comeback? YEAAAAA!!!! Woohoo!
I haven't been this excited about any MAC product this entire year, I don't think. I have 4 of them, 2 that I got at release time, and 2 from CCOs. Only started using them over this past summer. I love them! I use them pretty much strictly as blushes.
It has taken me time to figure out how to apply them without overapplying them (I fish out product with a spatula, then use my fingers to apply), but I am slowly but surely getting the hang of it.

yeah i didn't got for the casual colours the first time they came out but i've actually started to prefer using cream blushes and potted lip colours so i'm excited to snap a couple up that i've seen used in tutorials online and to see if any new colours come out!
OK, I'm slightly freaking out over here, is it possible that the Studio Finish Concealer is getting d/c?! Most shades are not available on all the german sites that carry MAC. Could it be that they're replacing it with the Matchmaster Concealer? I really hope not. I can't live without SFC!!!

I can hardly imagine that they would do that??? It's the same on the Dutch site. However, from what I understand we get our supply from Germany. i mean sheesh...can it at least be BLACK?? is that too much to ask for mac?? the quad aint even exciting. i swear carbon should be discontinued or phkn beat in the head like the zombies on Walkin Dead to merely rot n never be seen again....DEATH TO PHKN CARBON!!!
p.s. im at work more tired than a porn stars ballz so excuse my rants! im not in the right mind frame after 12hrs!!

Wonder if the eyeshadows x 15 palettes have removable eyeshadows? I have quite a few from each one, but of course MAC puts new colors in there that I don't have to try and tempt me to get the whole thing!

Matchmaster Concealer sounds like an amazing concept, though, since concealer is so much pickier about getting a good skin match than foundation (due to the larger variety of skin colors you start dealing with with under eye circles, etc.). Here's hoping you find a product that works for you, if your favorite is being DC'ed (rather than just out of stock).
Have you tried the Mineralize concealer yet? I have always hated concealer and it's the only one that has truly blown me away by how natural it looks - plus it's the only one that's not drying on my delicate eye skin PLUS it's got caffeine in it to depuff my bags!
I haven't tried the Mineralize one yet. I use other ones for my eye area, I just need the SFC for the rest of my face. It's a great skin match for me in NW15 and blends in nicely and gives great coverage. I get red spots easily and have some little scars to cover and lots of redness around the nose and on my cheeks. I don't know what product I should use if they really do get rid of the SFC.
I'm not sure if the Mineralize one would be a good option for that. I like something with a thicker consistency for that with high coverage, but not cakey at the same time. I got the Full Coverage Foundation recently, but that one really emphasizes my pores and clings on to every little imperfection and dry patches.
I've also heard that the Mineralize Concealer is quite yellow toned, even in NW. That's why I was always hesitant to order it.

The Mineralize is thick, but with a gel consistency, rather than a cream consistency. That's one of the things I love about it - it spreads on really smoothly but also doesn't cake or settle into fine lines (due to the gel style). It just sort of resurfaces the area and sets. I wouldn't say it's the highest coverage available, but it's enough for redness around the corners of my nose. I use NC15 as always and am happy with it - not sure if it runs more yellow than other ranges, though.
I DO have the Pro Longwear concealer in NW20 that I use for blemishes here and there (but not under my eyes anymore, since Mineralize is so much better there for me). That stuff stays on and doesn't budge.
