MAC Early Buzz - News for Upcoming Collections in 2015

Interested in Swiss Chocolate, I'm wondering if I could pull it off or if it would look 'dirty' on my pale skin. Also, I've never paid attention to Burnt Pepper before, it looks gorgeous!
I agree on both counts. I'm thinking that SC might make a nice, more dramatic contour for me. And BP is way prettier than I thought.
Yup the blush extension is clearly not for my pale skin
I wouldn't write it off too quickly. I have Devil, for instance and I love it on my pale skin. It doesn't overwhelm me at all.

I can't understand colours like Film noir or Sketch as blushes... I don't understand what kind of skintone they can suit...

I can see them being used for more editorial or runway looks. They may also make good contour shades for dark skins.

I've been seeing some gorgeous looks with white eyeshadow. I don't even own a white shadow.

Do you guys/gals wear white? Which MAC white would be a good one to start with?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
I haven't worn it for awhile but I used to in the mid-2000's. I wanted the Carolyn Besette Kennedy look with white shadow and red lips. I got white-white shadows from MAC (can't remember the names but just look for their plain whites). I remember that the SA tried to talk me out of it and steer me toward Vanilla. I bought Vanilla but still did my white eye look, as did one of my friends. Fascinating Eye Kohl works well with it, too. If you're good with a wing, I think a dark liner with a wing looks very 60's "mod".

I agree! And you don't need to use them at full capacity either. I like to mix blushes so I'm particularly excited for these!

Yeah exactly! You're obviously not gonna put dark brown blush on your cheek without blending it in (wel you shouldnt hahaha)

One would hope! Unless, that's what makes you happy.

I agree with you about editorial looks of course (MAC is a pro oriented brand after all), but I was thinking as a non pro user.
Of course the contouring part of the story crossed my mind too but with so many contouring powders and stuff like that... when comes to blushers I think about more classic way of using them I guess. :D

Soooo, no new info re: a mineralize collection for summer yet?

I think the promo pic for the blush collection is of a model's face wearing an orange visor thing and heavily red/pink blushed cheeks. At least that's what I think that pic is from, I spotted it on a pic from update on IG but couldn't really make out the products in front of it. The rest of the collections shown were ones we already know about / have already been released (EDES etc.)

I can't wait to get burnt pepper and possibly frankly scarlet, as long as it's not tooo pigmented to where i need a super light hand. All the plum/red berry shades ive had i wound up selling because i prefer something easier to use. I wonder how swiss choc would look as a "contour" on lighter skin. Il have to wait on more swatches :)

I bought Frankly Scarlet a few months ago, its very pigmented but with a light hand i like it. it can very easily look clownish IMO
