Beyoncé has a pretty long withstanding contract with L'Oréal, so I think she's unlikely to collaborate with MAC

if you guys have tried the other moisturizing primer from MAC the moisture infusion one, which one is better would you say? I'm on the hunt for a primer for dry skin

When I first went into Mac for the first time ever the moisture infusion one was suggested to me. I like it a lot and I also have pretty dry skin... During the harsh dry winter time here on the east coast I'll add a little aveeno daily moisturizing lotion for a little more punch of moisture. Works really well for me. And it doesn't feel heavy but well moisturized.

I let moisturizers do the priming. That's part of their job. There's really no need for a primer in addition to all the other stuff we wear. If you're using proper skincare, and a setting spray at the end, your moisturizer should be sufficient.

I swear you need to start a YouTube channel, write a book or start offering classes. I was under the impression that primer was only a barrier between your bare face and the make up. So I always thought u needed a moisturizer and then a primer. It wasn't until earlier last year I realized I don't actually need both. Like, you go to a counter and they'll push all that they can on you even stuff that's really not for you.... You go on YouTube and a good half of these girls don't know what they doing but give off the impression that they do know what they doing...(I saw a video today where a girl had put on two different shades of foundation and the mixture was still way off from her natural skin tone...mind you she poured the foundation on her face, bottle to skin) I'm so glad I stumbled on Specktra I've gotten a lot clarified and am still learning a lot. (..and a lot of the clarifications comes from your posts Erine, so thanks!)

Viola would have been an amazing choice.

Ariana is such a strange choice, her big moment in the spotlight has already passed and even her own fanbase is dwindling after the unpleasant donut spitting incident. If they specifically wanted another young pop star, Zendaya or even Selena Gomez would have been much better.

I dont like her, but will definitely buy this! Btw, we even havent got the miley 2 yet!

Anyone ever seen her in that Sam & Cat Nickelodeon show? Ugggh, her voice. I liked her when she first came out singing but for some reason when these young girls get linked with rappers it's a turn off for me...then I heard she's a douche so there's that, lol. If it's a nice color I'll get it. Heck if I bought both of Miley's and I never liked her, I can get Ariana's! Plus it's VG.

I was all for Caitlyn Jenner getting a viva glam campaign...until it came out that she doesn't even support gay marriage. I know she has "conservative values" but the fact that she can't support the community that supported her is really disappointing. I don't think MAC will have anything to do with her now, especially not for viva glam.

Really? Oh I didn't know she's against gay marriage. Really disappointing indeed. Although she's already had a collection, I'd love to see Beth Ditto for VG. She's so empowering and full of self esteem, and so funny and likeable. And she's always rocking great makeup.

  *Cackling* Perfect choice for an avi! I like this!  So far there's a nude, a red, and what other colors again? Thanks for sharing!   I like that it's a deeper shade this time instead of the usual red and that it's matte. It doesn't look like a color Ariana Grande would wear though, but same applies with the Viva Glam Miley colors.  I'm indifferent with her (my sisters can't stand her and they'll probably flip) but I guess she's better than Caitlyn Jenner (yeah I said it).  Are there really any *good* options for people to be on the next Viva Glam campaign? Everyone is so ~problematique~ nowadays.  If you were able to choose someone for a Viva Glam campaign, who would it be and why?

I'd love to see Brody Dalle, Kate Moennig, Cara Delevingne, Kate Beckinsale, Lucy Liu... TBH I'd be fine with a lot of people. But Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande? Yuck. But I hate Disney stars so yeah. :haha:

I think that's Ellen's simplistic take on what Cait said on her show, and not accurate. Bruce was a traditionalist (marriage=man/woman) but Cait has come around to realizing how important legal marriage is to same sex couples
