Meh, I bought the palette from this holiday collection and Viva Glam Riri1. I think I've donated enough to cover skipping Miley. I feel insulted that Mac thought this was a good idea. Ariana Grande wasn't good enough? Y'all couldn't get Kerry Washington? Jennifer Lopez? Kristen Chenoweth? Idina Menzel?

I am not into Miley, she has no class. They could have gotten someone with more integrity and still have gotten sales. Angelina Jolie, Kerry Washington, Pink, Brooke Shields, Beyonce, Adele, Florence Welch, Sarah Hyland from Modern Family would be good if they wanted to draw a younger demographic too.

I love Tilda Swinton's campaign! Maybe we'll get Laverne next cycle. *fingers crossed*

I would like Tilda Swinton for MAC, too. Also would have liked the Osbournes for Viva Glam, or Kerry Washington, as mentioned, she is awesome. Definitely I won't buy anything connected to Miley Cyrus :(

edit: Florence Welch and Adele would be great choices, too.

Are the Viva Glam people always current celebs? I haven't been following Mac for too long but they have been since I've been following like Rihanna, Nikki Minaj, now Miley (I bought none, from reading the comments I know yall can't stand Miley but I'm not loving any of them).

I'd love for Mac to do 80s artist collaborations, like Pat Benatar!

Or even Blondie (aka Debbie Harry) or Joan Jett.

OMG! When Erin? I must of been too young or not into MAC when Blondie was the Viva Glam spokesperson. I'm sorry I missed her. They should re-do her. Heck, they did GaGa and RiRi twice.
VG VI with Eve, Lisa Marie Presley and Dita Von Teese.

Miley (oh, that even hurts to type it) will bring in a younger crowd. MAC has clearly been trying to get younger customers. That's practical and reasonable for a cosmetic business. But, she makes me puke.

If anyone want to contribute to AIDS research, give to a reputable AIDS organization, even a group in one's own city. They often need funds. Screw Miley. I was no fan fo Rihanna, but Miley is really low.

And even if she didn't make me sick, i never wear hot pink. I got both VG RiRi2 products.

I don't despise Miley Cyrus but I did think it was an odd choice for MAC to collaborate with her, even if they are trying to cater to a younger demographic. I don't really see Miley as a "trendsetter" or style/makeup icon. I will most likely purchase if I like the color or as a gift. People who are saying Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez are better candidates should know that they are both with L'Oreal and Pink is with Covergirl.
