I have that feeling of impatience coming over me again. Guess it's due to not feeling well plus I hurt my feet during hiking over the weekend. I want to know about the upcoming F/W 2012-2013 collections. I know paparazziboy will no longer share his knowledge with us, all in thanks to some miserable person that just had to ruin it for all of us who enjoy knowing stuff ahead of time. Who else do we have to give us some insight? HG, but she is barely on due to her busy schedule and Itching2Snitch who hasn't been around for some time now. I'm bored.

LOL, I agree, OctoberViolet. I would like to have some more info too or maybe some pics. Right now I'm really impatient to see swatches of the Styleseeker collection. And I wouldn't mind some news about the holiday collection. Wish we could get the colour story infos months before the collections come out, so I could plan ahead what to buy.

Styleseeker & Office Hours are what I am looking forward to right now. Then, Marilyn and whatever else may come out and of course the big holiday collection that I believe is going to be retro 60's inspired. I may be wrong with that, but I know it's something close to it. Next year I think it was mentioned about a Twiggy collection which should be very interesting.

Yes, I rememeber the holiday collection should have a 60's theme. I'm also curious what the next couture collection will be, I'm becoming more and more attracted to those. despite the high price tag. I kind of regret not getting much from the previous ones, I only own Strada blush from Gareth Pugh. I think I'll rather pass on a couple of regular LE items and save up for somehting from the couture one. The luxurious special packaging is what makes me excited. I love the heavy compact of Strada.

Me too. And a sixties inspired theme would be really exciting! Not sure how that will mesh with holiday theme, but it could be really interesting...and of course I love almost any Twiggy inspired things. Maybe we could get special holiday packaging with some Mod type retro graphic design???

I have a feeling that Mac may become a little more lenient about sharing information again in the future. I understand that they wanted to protect themselves from potential knock-offs, especially of new formulas, but the information leaks actually served to build excitement for upcoming launches. Ironically, other cosmetic companies- even Estee Lauder, Mac's parent- have realised it and are releasing information and letting certain bloggers and members of the press see products earlier and earlier. I think the key issue for Mac will be maintaining some sort of control over what gets out and to whom.

I agree, though, I miss the early news and rumours that we used to get.

I saw the upcoming new Prep & Prime face primer the other day. It gives an effect like strobe cream, but it's tinted gold so it's perfect for folks who have too much redness in their face for strobe. My MA is crazy about it, since he's quite red. I thought the texture was light and hydrating - really great texture, also only a very subtle sheen, nothing over the top at all. It was too yellow for me, though, so it didn't do anything much for my skin tone. Chances are they'll eventually release other shades in the future, but for now, if you have face redness and don't want anything heavy or too sheeny, you might fall in love.

I found it hydrating too. I wish they would have released this earlier this summer. It's a great product for hot and humid days!

Sounds like a cross between the prep & prime skin enhancers in illuminate and neutralise??

I was happy to read that the new Face Primer suits people with redness, but if there's no SPF, I donno. I recently bought the P&P Skin Enhancer in neutralise, and I've been happy with that. Before I used P&P Skin, but then I needed a separate SPF because my face creams don't have any.

Frankly, there are so many P&P products, existing and coming, that I don't keep up with them.

Oh, it's up now, and it says that it's for oily and combination skin, so not for me anyway.

I don't mind the lack of SPF... it's better for photos, and I have SPF in my moisturizers/foundation if I really need it! For oily/combo skin and moisturizing, too? Even better! I might have to check this one out...
