Speaking of big collections, which is the big summer collection for this year? I gather S3/C3 was the big spring collection but which is the big summer one or haven't we any info yet.

As for Marilyn, I only think of red lips when I think of Marilyn Monroe. I don't really do red lips but I'm curious about the other products in this collection.

My mom is a genius! She said that this year marks Marilyn Monroe's 50th year anniversary of her death (RIP). Good for MAC giving this beautiful soul some recognition. She's still one of the hottest sex symbols around and one of the most talked about actors.

The summer collection will be Hey, Sailor! Unfortunately, we don't really know anything about it.

A Marilyn collection definitely sounds intriguing. I'm glad it comes out in October. Gives me plenty of time to find a new job.

When I saw the tweet from MacCosmetics come into my stream about this I literally squealed. Wasted no time in putting a Makeup Intel post on my blog about it. I am SOO excited as I adore Marilyn Monroe.

BRILLIANT! From the description and the timing, I would say that this collection would be the anniversary for Venomous Villains/ Cindy Sherman. Marilyn is probably the ultimate beauty icon and I think that it's a great choice. I'd expect red lips and neutral eyes, but with a bit of drama- she popularised the deep crease colour with lighter shades on the lid and brow, after all. and, of course, tools to create a perfect winged liner. I'm tempted to search as many images I can find of her to some up with some ideas, but, of course, things will rest with the imaginations of the Mac development team. 

I hope this is the VV and CS follower because that would mean the last week in September for the US. YAY!!!! There HAS to be a lipstick called Norma Jean... Or something! I'm excited!

I would love red packaging! I'm still hoping they go outside the box for this one and we get more eye products than light lid shades and deeper crease shades. I'm imagining the red lip possibilities now! I saw How to Marry a Millionaire a few months ago and I would love a glossy red lip like the one featured in the film.

I immediately thought of dark red packaging when I heard about this! Sounds like it would be amazing. I hope Queens Sin comes out with this. Black liner....utoh, we getting another penultimate repromote?! lol
