I'm in total love with the warm palette. I've used every shadow except for two, and that is unheard of from me. I love love the third column of shadows. The size makes it a little unpractical to take with me, but if I'm doing my makeup at home instead of at my desk, I'm using this palettte. They feel so buttery to me, but no fallout. I think they're better than my normal MAC shadows, which is strange. I think the warm would look amazing on you!

Thank you hon. I was thinking exactly about the warm palette for myself. Although I have 4 of the 15 shadows in the warm it does not sway my decision in any way. interesting to know that the quality is better than regular shadows because I have a boatload of Mac's perm shadows. I'm def planning to get this one of the two.

Let me know what you think. I don't think a lot of people picked these up yet, so I want to hear how others are pairing them or if they like them or not. I got them because I didn't have a bunch of shadows. I'm a lipstick/blush girl with glasses, so the eyes get forgotten a lot. But I am really loving playing with these. A word of warning: the first column is pretty light. If you look at my swatches you can see. I'm not sure if it's because I'm super pale, or if it was because those shadows weren't that pigmented.

Okay, thanks for letting me know what to expect. When I work with lighter colors that might not show up on my deeper skin, I will use a white base (UD Eden primer portion is excellent for making those color show). The magic of makeup, we can make anything work :) I was hesitant on purchasing because I'm waiting for Nars to release their new palette. It hasn't been previewed officially yet but the buzz is already spreading like wildfire. So I've been trying resist anymore makeup buying until I know more. So that was a good buy for you if you didn't have many shadows. I hope you enjoy your beautiful palettes. Sometime when I need inspiration, I refer to some of my past favorite YouTube vids. The current youtubers are all gimmicky and it's all about being sponsored and less about makeup application anymore or sharing real valued products.

No problem. I thought I'd give you a heads up about the lighter shades. For me it's not a dealbreaker because they can still be used and the other shades are so fab. I have the worst time with NARS in general, but the shadows seem to always disapoint me. Let me know if you have any other questions. So many people have helped me here that I want to make sure I give back too.

And I agree about the YT videos. Plus sometimes I want to see a look from only one brand (it makes it easier to buy and understand the look). If they use a bunch, sometimes the brands aren't as easily available, etc.

Yea, it appears you have to posses 100 different brands to recreate their look. I'm sorry you haven't had a good experience with NARS. Not all of their products are holy grail for me but I do have a few favs in their eyeshadows. Thank you for your help with the mac warm palette. I plan to buy it sooner than later.
