Thank you for the swatches Shellcat!

Both glosses look very pretty on you and I really like the shimmer that Angel has. I prefer glosses that have some shimmer.

Is Saint Germain settling into lip lines?
This is always my biggest concern at using lipglasses with a cream finish.

I'm a N3/NC25-30. I adore Razzledazzler. I wear it with Nice N Spicy (nude lipliner on me) and it's really pretty. It's nothing like Spice, which is deeper, matter and browner. Razzledazzler is lighter, sheerer and much more coral. RD is a perfect summer colour. :)

I really thought I would let these sets pass me by without a thought. So far I've gotten two of the lipglosses. Rebel and Morange. Morange goes so well over my two favorite orange lippies and Rebel... what can't I say about Rebel lipgloss. I LOVE the lipstick and now I love the lipgloss. They need to find a way to make this permanent. I think I may have to start a petition!!!

By the way, my nails have definately gotten better after using the Trind Nail balm and cuticle balm. I have used nailpolish a couple of times this week, but no problems with my nails. Thanks for the tip! Very happy I got them

It looked that way to me on T's site, which makes it a skip for me. It looked really uneven and odd on her. That being said, it is a great color!

Morange isn't for me, but Rebel and Chestnut keep calling to me (i recently realized i'm low on dark brown lipsticks). I'm even thinking of getting Saint Germain gloss (how pink is THAT!), if it is restocked. ...And here i thought i wasn't getting anything from this collection!

I plan to pick up some very deep plum blush this year and work my way back to a full-on Biba look (intense eyes, dark lips, strong cheeks) and Rebel and Chestnut will really work fine for that... not that i have the big round eyed, innocent fresh faced look of those late 60s Biba models, like i did back in the 60s. But you only live once, and i want to enjoy some glamor in my life again from time to time. Neither "the smoky eye with nude lips" nor "the neutral eye with red lips" (i've never ever been a red lipstick girl) brings that for me.

And I am really with you on making at least some of these matching/compatible lipglosses permanent! I'll gladly sign you petition, DILLIGAF!

How do you not have these already??? Yes, you need them. They are probably THE iconic red combo that every woman should have in her arsenal. (OK, to be honest, I don't have the gloss, but I do have one called Pure Vanity, which is a bright, creamy blue-red that came out a few years ago and that looks pretty close.) I always call RR the ultimate "power red". Believe me, I have LOTS. OF. REDS. but there's something about this one that still stands out. And as a matte, it's not too drying.

I am gonna be the anti-enabler here and say, meh. I personally think there are more special reds out there. I guess I like my reds more on the yellow side or muted. I bet you have Chanel dragon which is way prettier IMO or NARS red lizard.

I don't have the gloss, but I do have the lipstick and I always get compliments whenever I wear Russian Red. Russian Red is so pretty by itself, that it doesn't need a gloss. It's not as blue based and deep as Ruby Woo, but it's not a tomato red either. I say go for the lipstick.

i think russian red is a mac classic and it suits a lot of people. why not? but it's not as special as other reds....i like mac red or lady danger better. but thats just me...

I think it just depends on how heavily you apply it.

A light coat doesn't settle into my lip lines, and especially using it over a lippie. No problems so far.

I really love the color and I often wear Saint Germain l/s or similar shades (Colour Crafted,Gaga 1,Pink Friday etc.)

It is back on my list again now!

I've always had Russian Red l/g and I use it over my favorite red( MACs Kanga Rouge). I'm coming to realize that Rebel is my default lipstick when I don't know what to put on my lips. It sits in a place of honor on my vanity. I grab it when I go barefaced and want a pop of color. I always get compliments on it. Seriously though MAC needs to make more of these lipglosses permanent.
