No to Spice. It's just not working, only one nudish lipstick has worked so far and that's Offshoot. Oh well.
Oh no, sorry, I thought Spice would work for everyone. Do you have the gloss. Most people who wear nudes put a gloss over them anyway, so I'm skippping the middle man and just getting the gloss.

I think I am going to get the gloss tomorrow. Spice seems like a nude lip I will actually like.
Yep! It sold out for a reason! LOL and it looks pretty on a lot of skin tones. I haven't heard too many gals complaining about the lipstick. The few who didn't like it were fair gals. I think it may have been a little too brown for them. Here's Spice lipglass swatched on me. It's a rosy, brown nude color. I'm NW43 for reference.

I thought so too! Maybe I'm nitpicking, just not use to wearing nudes. For some reason my store didn't have the gloss but I have been thinking about getting it.

It makes me look like a heroin addict that is super dehydrated or something. Not...attractive..in...the...least...bit. On the other hand with all these great swatches, Spice may be flowing on my next order.
You may have to blot it down a bit. That's what most fair gals have been doing.

LOL ew no ! I'm buying the lipstick and gloss. I will pair it with one of my beloved NYX liners and I'm gonna post a picture in the thread... So people can see that you can wear anything if you put in some effort. haha sometimes it's boring wearing lipstick straight from the tube (Unless it's something like Russian Red or Up the Amp) and sometimes YOU HAVE to pair the lipstick with liner in order to make it wearable.. I think this is the case with Myth. LOL

I can wear Myth, but only when I blot it down. That's how I always wear nudes anyways, I don't like nude l/s when they're applied thickly, especially if it's a Satin or Matte.

Still skipped the whole collection and I'm proud of that.

somehow I think the most modern way to wear lipstick is the most traditional way. From the tube or with a brush. to me liner + lipstick + gloss is a very outdated look. But that's just my opinion. When I was trained I was taught to follow these steps and I really think we are over the perfectly lined lips or glossy lips. But thats my opinion. Just like drag-like cut creases with liquid liner, and a brow highlight.... So to me wearing a lipliner that's darker and then myth... it's a nono. but you have a different style and skin tone so....show us!

I feel you on that, I'm not into nudes either so it's really hard to find something I like. I did look at offshoot for a quick sec when it was out; but I spent too much on prince noir and runaway red at that time, lol I am going to get Chesnut because it makes the perfect lip erase. It's the same color as my top lip. It's perfect cause MAC doesn't make a lip erase that dark. At least I'm not aware if they do.

That's true, but I am mostly straight out the tube. I think anything is wearable with some work and extra products. It's fun to mix and match too see what works, but that's a look for the my weekends/ going out. Day to day it's one tube, straight out my makeup bag.

I LOVE Prince and RR, those two were the highlights of that collection for me. The lip erase idea with chestnut sounds interesting, is the erase a pro item?

I agree gal! My bolder looks are usually done when I'm going out to party with friends or out for drinks. I'm a full time student and I work, so I don't have time to do all of that. It really just depends on the lipstick. Some lipsticks are so perfect out of the tube, that I never add gloss or liner to them. Examples include Russian Red, Up the Amp, Pillow Talk, Half n' Half, and Show Orchid. Makeup has no rules. That's what a lot of people don't understand. Because lip liner with lipstick and gloss being "outdated" is a new one to Bee. Nevertheless funny LMAO
