I've been using MAC l/g for years and this is actually the first one that's gone bad in such a short period of time. I've had some l/g for years, but like Audrey, I replaced them due to personal choice, not b/c they smelled off. I actually compared RD to a l/g that's almost a year old and the older l/g still retained the MAC vanilla scent. I figured it was this shade as well.I bought my first l/g in January and I've already had two go bad - Hot Spell and Lust. They've gotten thicker and they have a funny smell. I was told by MAC that they're still ok but I'm not putting that on my mouth. I will no longer buy MAC l/g because I'm not spending about $20 Canadian for a lipglass that lasts 3 months. I've had other brands last far longer, including much cheaper ones. I have four CSG on the go and so far they've been fine; I'm trying to power through them.
This is a disappointment to me since I've been buying MAC since the VG1 launch and I've never had a regular lippie go bad. I've replaced some that were ancient but that was personal choice; they seemed fine
Probably just going to ask for a refund and then probably use that money towards another palette.
